It's only 6 an over on a small ground. They should win if they keep wickets in hand.

Talking of Hampshire I'm going to the YB40 game against Surrey at the Oval on Monday. Forecast is for sun and warmth so looking forward to a good way to spend the bank holiday.

The Cleveland Indians have the best naming history. They went through a half-dozen uninspiring nicknames, none of which their players liked, and then named themselves after their star player for a time (making them the Cleveland Naps). When he left, they needed a new name...so they simply gave up trying to be original, borrowed the concept used by the Boston Braves, who were coming off a successful season, and that was that.

Crikey, you must be young. As it starred Tom Hanks, I shouldn't think so.

1993 might be a better bet.

So with the amount of work I have and with it being a bank holiday, not leaving the office late on Tuesday might be a bit of challenge perhaps which is not good, as I want to spend every moment possible with her, assuming she doesn't postpone again. Oh please don't postpone....

And Vince is clubbing the Essex bowlers all around the ground. 29 off 18 now. Saintdon, you're too negative.

Seemed a lot, as you say, mustn't lose wickets too quickly.

    Topley's figures: 2 overs 0-26. Ouch! Hants 50 up in 6 overs. That's 20/20 batting!

And Carberry gets in on the act - he's hit the Essex bowler out of the ground.

I would recommend you try it once. You'd have to be in a good chinese restaurant at a lunch time and find it on the Dim Sum menu. It's really falvoursome and can be steamed and covered in a variety of sauces. The flavour is fantastic, it is the texture and sensation that normally puts people off...you suck the skin and sauce off the bones; it's a bit slippery.
