I fear that's part of the problem. There's a fine line between always being so damn positive and actually being somewhat deluded. Some of our fan base suffer from the same condition.
Had Tony been a bit more pragmatic and engaged in realism rather than dream-mode last Summer and this season, perhaps we might not be in this mess.
Yet maybe that's too harsh because I think he's a top Chairman and a great bloke to have in charge of the Club. Still, I fear that he hasn't learned from his mistakes and he might continue to throw good money after bad next year looking for instant results and football's just not like that.
