Stay away from our club. You turn out for the 'big games' and then abuse the players from minute 1. I think the last time you had a day out at City was 24/5/08, remember it ****bags? You tried for tickets for Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc during the Premier League years but you were too late as the majority getting those were actually genuine supporters who committed to buying all games home and away in those years. Now, unfortunately you smell potentially good times again and you show your rather fetching toothless faces once again. Well just go and **** yourselves or do what you are normally doing on a Saturday and abusing your missus or some innocent sod down the boozer, just don't turn up at City and don't come on Saturday, please. The team have been shockingly poor in the last 3 games but I don't think absuing them as they go down the tunnel or on twitter (via their families) is going to encourage loan signings to put in 100% on Saturday, do you? We need a full stadium behind us on Saturday and everyone pulling together. I know this is full of cliche's but it is true and surely thr only way we can beat Cardiff.
Amen, there are two types of part time supporters, there are the passive types who don't really follow city but still are upholding members of society that probably just have other commitments like a wife and three kids and spend most of their weekends in the lake district. Sure they are a bit annoying, especially when they buy a season pass in the Premier League. But alas I can put up with them. It's the utter scumbags who use to go watch city and have a scrap when they were 15. A big game comes along and all the old boys start ringing round "shall we do Barnsley away'. Alas for them, most of their friends have moved on, they have grown up and got on with their lives. So instead, they don their suits and a couple of them get absolutely slaughtered, drive down to the game after 8 pints in the pub, stand their with their scumbag girlfriend and the mate and abuse the players, swear profusely in-front of children about just about anything. Start a fight with the bloke stood next to them then run down to the bottom at full time to abuse the players, They probably haven't been to a home game for years because it's crap these days. We don't want you... don't come back.
The usual social snobbery and attempted high horsery stance. Hull City is a broad church. If 5 or 10 people berate the players at the end, it wouldn't be the first time. It's even happened before at Jokewell with City when we got pissed on 3-0 in Feb 2007 and Ash was on the receiving end as he went down the tunnel.
Does anyone know if the ticket office will refund 13/14 Season Pass payments now we won't be in the Prem next year?
I think the 'part time supporters' mentioned on the OP wouldn't be seen dead at Jokewell or the KC. They don't get out of bed for less than the Prem.
Andy King - "Pulling together" is the key in that post so if they are going to abuse 90 minutes from the Prem then surely it is better if they stay away, is it not?
I'm not sure, what about Circa, Stan, City Agro etc. I agree with Bev Tiger though, the sooner these clowns get priced out of football the better. Raise ticket prices and give football back to the real fans.
I'm not sure that it matters how many we have at the KC, 6,000 turned up for an away game yesterday, but unfortunately, the team didn't turn up at all.
I wonder how the average German fan feels about dropping their prices so significantly over the last few years? Has it contributed to a significant increase in violence? I would be interested to know. I agree with the argument in sentiment. Every time I go away to a London game it's always trouble free and a much more enjoyable experience.
You tend to get a lot of exiles and student types at the London games, but many of them are not hard core fans, just using the game for networking and meeting mates etc. I can't remember the last time there was any trouble at a City away game to be honest.
TWF's isn't articulating his argument very candidly but the principle of what he is saying is correct. Rising ticket prices would get rid of a lot of idiots, but the reason I don't agree with it is that it would also get rid of a lot of hard working people who are perfectly upstanding members of society.
