I think people are expecting too much too soon. NP has spent the last week or so on holiday apparently. In recent years we've signed freebies (including Geovanni) in July. We're not even in June yet. The signings will come.
The premiership season only ended Sunday, players will be wanting to have holidays and such before getting back into football
Players contracts generally end at the end of May, so unless the club actually release a player he cant sign for anyone, I am sure Palace are still trying to convince him to stay. Like others said, players will also be on holiday. Also if you had several potential employers looking at you, wouldnt you wait to see which is the best company to work for, and who will offer you the best deal. I would love to see Danns in our midfield, if he goes elsewhere, no big deal, sure NP has a plan B, C, and D
I thought it was the end of June? You can agree pre-contract deals with upcoming bosmans but that's about it.
Most contracts do indeed expire in June, though the one month approach rule is largely ignored for players who are definitely leaving a club.
Twitter says he's just going on his holidays so nothing is going to happen either way for a good week or so at the very least
