Our new boy missed out on winning Man United's reserve team player of the year, he was beaten by Oliver Gill(son of Cheif Exec David Gill).
aye saw this when watching the Man-u Awards thing on MUTV a week or so ago. there was video's of the 3 players in contention. Dudgeon looked pretty good. also Gill said in his speech something about it being easier to win since 1 of the 3 lads has left the club, Dudgeon was still at the awards ceremony and was sat with the other lads. in another interview with a man-u youngster he said that Dudgeon's played well all season and got a dream move to Hull in a deal that will change his life... something like that.
I think Joe was ruled out because he's not with man-u. atleast thats what i got from some of the interviews.
He's a defender, though I'm not sure they'll let him go out on loan, he's been on the bench for several first team games this season.
They've had plenty of problems with Rio and Vidic though, he only made the bench because they were starting Smalling and Evans at times.
True, I suppose his availability will depend on who Man United bring in over the summer, Rio's not getting any younger and may well be out next season, as often as he has been this season.
United will sign French Youngster Raphael Varane i think thats how you spell it, hes a centre back or defensive midfield, for what its worth the ones the United fans rate in the reserve/youth set up are Ravel Morrison AM apparntly got bags of ability but is a bit of a bad lad Will Keane apparntly is a new Sheringham/berbatov type scored something like 23 in 27 games Paul Pogba big physical box to box player, alot say similar to Viera, great passing ability and a good long range shooting ability. Ryan Tunniclife some say hes similar in style to Keane/Hargreaves some say Gerrard, Very busy, good passer and has a good burst to get forward and beat players. Any of those 4 on loan, depending on which position we need backup for would be good, although were linked with Nicky Ajose strongly whos mainly a LW/Striker.
