Now tell me why voicing an opinion upon a clip that I found both tasteless but, unfortunately, par for the course as far as Evra is concerned, is supposed to be disruptive to this board?

Before you even try and be judgemental you should really check your facts. Firstly the descriptors of Evertonians as BITTERS is a long standing practice on Merseyside, therefore I am far from being hypocritical in my use of it. Secondly, whilst the level of my intellect can be judged in many ways, perhaps the most common way of doing that is via qualifications and experience. On that basis alone I am certain that Paddy Power would not even take a bet between the difference between you and me. I most certainly did not glean it "from watching day time telly quiz shows and the discovery channel" but it may act as a good descriptor of your own.

I may appear ridiculous to you. Quite frankly I don't care. I find your supposed attempts at humour and protestations of innocence pathetic.

You get no protestations of innocence from me.. I see you as being a hypocrite and i called you on it simple as. I'm surprised that in your superior intelligence you fail to see that. . You have become the very thing you seek to take the piss of evertonians about... it is that simple. You are a bitter and twisted old man. Why else do you think we all take the piss out of you.. I mean you no malice what so ever but i say what i see. In this instance and in many others as soon as you are made to look the fool you come across you resort to the standard '**** off dickhead' I'm just disappointed you didnt tell me to go back to my own board..

From the story that I listened to on Radio 5, Downing Street wre asked what opinion Cameron had on the issue and a 'spokesperson' made a comment about Cameron believing footballers being role models and the FA taking the matter seriously.

I think people need to think about this one. I doubt that Cameron ordered his spokesman to issue a statement without any prompting thus wading into a purely footballing matter. Some papers IMO have been slightly devious in their reporting of the matter. The Guardian for example said: "Support for an increased punishment arrived from an unlikely source when a spokesman for David Cameron entered the debate over Suárez's conduct.

However the Huffington Post reported that: "Asked on Monday afternoon what action David Cameron thought should be taken against Suarez, the prime minister's official spokesman told reporters: "It is rightly a matter for the football authorities to consider.

"As part of their consideration, I think it would be very understandable if they took into account the fact that high-profile players are often role models."

It seems more than likely that No.10's statement was issued in response to a question rather than being an unsolicited comment.

Last night my comment was neither foolish nor hypocritical.

Look to yourself. Anybody who has to resort to "we all" is both gutless and clueless. So perhaps you should think upon your behaviour. If it provokes "**** off dickhead" then the exercise of "I say what I see" is either merely self-centred or inappropriate.

Come off it Billy. Suarez is Ferguson's 'Sleeper'. He activates him at certain times to carry out pre-programmed acts of lunacy. On this occasion, he knew our club was no threat, but he was worried that one of our players was going to beat van Persie to the Golden Boot and he couldn't possibly allow that. The stimulus was delivered, Suarez bit out, gets banned, van Persie gets the prize. It's so simple and so fiendishly clever. I wonder how many other 'sleepers' he has in our squad. Scary stuff and absolutely true <yikes>

Yeah. He gave me the info on the 'Sleeper Strategy' <laugh>

No mate. He was up to his ears in it yesterday, so I left him to it. I'll give him a try today though <ok>

It was hypocritical in the sense that you come across as a bitter old get. something to which you are more than happy to spout at tobes with such regularity. Then you get your arse in your hand with Evra over taking the piss by biting a blow up arm.. Yet no doubt you found it funny when suarez dived infront of Moyes as harmless banter..

This thread you made yourself look a total plank by declaring the bite was bollocks until you saw evidence of the bite marks. even with picture evidence, you then leap to the mans defence, then you change your tune and say you dont condone it, yet you excuse it along with others by making attempts to compare it to other players misdemeanours. YOU SIR ARE A HYPOCRITE. you try and twist peoples words to suit whatever your warped and twisted mind wishes to conjure up about any given situation, yes you put forward an arguement in a well reasoned manner but that doesnt mean it is correct. You have become the very thing you accuse evertonians of being. bitter an twisted old fella. I have tried on numerous occasions not to make this personal, i left it last night when bow asked, yet you and ya mate donga rounded on him. You need to take a long hard look at yourself and a think about how you come across.

I like Bow and see him being a reasonable well balanced fella who tries to do an impossible job of keeping some tribalism in check. Look closer to home before you start having a pop at him.

It is clear that Downing Street has made no official statement on the Suarez issue.

John Aldridge: Liverpool FC are right to stand by Luis Suarez

I’M pleased that Liverpool FC have come out and made it clear that Luis Suarez still has a future at Anfield.

You can’t condone what Suarez did on Sunday. Biting Branislav Ivanovic was a terrible thing to do and now he will have to suffer the consequences.

But I don’t go along with the idea that enough’s enough and that Liverpool should be looking to sell him this summer.

Yes, he let the club down – but I want Suarez to stay.

Read More: James Pearce's analysis on why Luis Suarez will get the chance to continue at LFC

A lot of people won’t agree with me and will argue he’s damaged the club’s reputation once too often but the bottom line is he’s absolutely vital to Brendan Rodgers’ team.

If we want to be successful as a club then we need to build on what we’ve got. If we want to challenge for the top four next season we can’t afford to be selling our best players.

Steven Gerrard isn’t getting any younger and Jamie Carragher is retiring at the end of the season.

If Suarez was to leave we’re talking about another massive void for the club to fill. Rodgers is trying to build the club back up and doing that would be very hard without Suarez. I’m not sure how you could replace him.

It’s just a ridiculous situation and I can’t get my head around what Suarez did. He clearly hasn’t learned after what happened at Ajax that biting is completely unacceptable. How do you make a mistake like that twice?

The frustrating thing is that anyone who has watched Suarez this season knows he had changed his ways. After all the stick he took for diving, he stays on his feet a lot more but now it’s back to square one.

Are you for real or merely another plank?

I made my comment that the bite may have been a simulation before any official statements had been made. As soon as they were made I totally accepted that they were true. There is nothing in my behaviour on the issue that makes me a 'plank' or anything of the type. Therefore if we are to continue this dialogue YOU SIR ARE A FOOL . Therefore I have no need, neither do I have any desire, to take instruction on how my opinions should be either constructed or delivered by the likes of you!

<ok> Won't stop some people from claiming otherwise and that some mass conspiracy exists to force Suarez to leave the country.

I think that there are at least 2 issues here.

Firstly, the rumour that Downing Street had intervened was spread by a large proportion of the media and therefore took upon itself the appearnace of fact.

Secondly, there has been lots of liberal comment (in the written media at least) as to how LFC should handle this matter. Some of which have 'demanded' that he should be sold abroad.

Given the coincidence of these 2 factors, it is quite likely that the 'news' may be reacted too.

Its obvious if the spokesman for the PM or indeed the PM/senior cabinet minister themselves were directly asked, they would not ignore completely the question but give the kind of answer that was quoted. The quote when you read it is a purely politicians answer. Plenty of words but little substance.
