This is why i like you HIAG. You set yourself up to fall so badly. We still have an easier run in than you, and we still have a better (and bigger) squad than you do.

So you decided to join in?

The only difference between HIAG's predictions and numerous ones you'll see on the Arsenal board expecting us to fail is that HIAG does it with a sense of humour, he spent the first half of the season talking about AVB driving the Mighty Spurs Juggernaut™ and Liverpool's relegation battle ffs! :D

It's not to everyone's taste but it's better than having an Arsenal fan, bitter after drawing against Everton, come on our City thread to declare we had no chance of winning the game.

Oxocube, if you're reading, feel free to continue posting about how we'll never beat teams. I'm not sure it helps but it doesn't seem to do any harm :)

I'm not sure if it's humour, or if he's genuinely bonkers.

Your game in hand is a probable loss against Chelsea, so therefore it isn't really a game in hand at all. And Manure will probably be celebrating a title win, so they might actually be beatable.

And regarding the quote in your sig, yes, i do think we can still finish 2nd, and i'll think that until it's mathematically impossible. You saw first hand today how unpredictable Citeh are.

You won't beat United. You know it, and I know it, so let's cut the bull5hit.

And as for you finishing 2nd... <laugh>. It isn't going to happen! You've got enough to worry about trying to finish higher than 5th to even begin to think about overturning £ity. They will be smarting from the defeat against us and will thrash the next team they play. Mark my words.

It's our best chance of beating them for 2 years, it's the weakest manure side for years, and we can now (sort of) defend, since Wenger finally grew a pair and dropped Vermaelen. And Giroud is suspended which strengthens us too. It's actually possible.

And like i said, you saw 1st hand how inconsistent Citeh are, 60 minutes in you had no right winning that game, yet they switched off completely and had no answer once the Defoe goal went in.

Moreso, how did you write your post HIAG? You're banned from the Arsenal board.

I assume he logs out, has a read and copies the posts he wants to quote. If he could get on your board to quote them properly(ie logged in) they'd have blue arrows next to the users name in the quote, which takes you to the post quoted.

Eitherway it's more entertaining than most. I don't think he's bonkers though.

Bloody hell, after all this time I'd never noticed those blue arrows!!!! Have they always been there?

You have a very ordinary side that has had a very easy run against the worst teams in the division. Now that you are going to be facing tougher opponents, you will be found out. As weak as United may be they will still be far, far too strong for Arsenal. I'd put money on RVP scoring at least two against you. You appear to be an easy three-points for United, and I have not seen anything from your recent performances (against very weak opposition) to convince me otherwise.

As for £ity, they cannot be blamed for their defeat today. There isn't a team in Europe that could have withstood that last 15 minutes against us. We were unplayable, and proved why it is that we deserve our place at the CL footy table. Let's face it, there is absolutely no point AFC being there, since you never get further than the quarter finals. It's about time that you get pushed out of the running and try to redeem something from the Europa League, since that is a competition that you do actually stand some chance of winning.

Sorry, have to but in here. They didn`t switch off, their manager was tactically outclassed by AVB and had no answer.

A spurs fan lecturing me on failure in europe? <laugh>

Thought i'd seen it all.

I think so. I can't remember when I noticed them but I think I clicked on one by accident once.

It's useful because anyone can edit quotes like this...

Arsenal are rubbish

But you can click that blue bit to see whether that's what they actually said :)

<laugh>

We beat Bayern at the Allianz, you couldn't even beat Basel at White fart Lane in the eurodisney cup.

It's going to be interesting to see how well you fare in the eurodisney cup. My betting is that you'll go out with a whimper, in the quarters.
<whistle>

By the way, I don't think the Mighty Spurs Juggernaut crashed, I think it was merely parked in a lay-by for most of April. Today, I heard the crunch of its gears and the roar of its powerful engine, and very soon we are all going to be witness to the fearful sight of its headlights blazing over the crest of the hill.
