Probert is letting some outrageous challenges go at Upton Park. I know there are times when we all wish keepers had to work a bit harder, but the steamrollering that De Gea is getting is astonishing. Just no consistency with officials.

On another day Carroll could've picked up 2 bookings in the space of a minute there, first he tries to kick out at Rooney and then he flattens Evra and De Gea apparently trying to head the ball but getting nowhere near it and planting a 'butt on De Gea's nose.

I had someone do that on me once. He broke my nose and I was in hospital for 24 hours. Took me 5 years to get my revenge. It was well worth my 56 days suspension <laugh>.

De Gea doesn't look like he's going to shy away either. It'll be interesting if Carroll finds himself underneath a floated cross at somepoint in this game :D

He's playing well though, looks more like the player that was impressing at Newcastle these days.
