He gave Pienaar a yellow for an almost identical but softer foul. Pussy ref.
 
Good first half, just when Everton looked to be on top Giroud had an excellent chance, he had to score, and then Cazorla found some room in the box. Can't see this ending 0-0 they're both going for it.
 
Phew! It was a good even game until Arsenal dominated the last hour, Everton defended well though and Giroud failed to make them pay. Glad Arsenal didn't score in Fergie Time, it was never 4 minutes in the first place and the ref added on an extra 20 seconds out of nowhere when he'd already played the extra minute for 2 subs made after the board went up.
 
About time a result went our way. Scrappy, poor game overall. Arsenal did pile on the pressure at the end, again, and would have gotten the win with decent finishing. Howard did well coming off his line.
