The guy couldn't have cleared the ball like he did without "pivoting" on Giroud's shirt. He couldn't have turned to clear like that without hanging on to him. A stupid penalty that wasn't in a dangerous situation, but you can't do that.
Still, they're only a point ahead of us. Just gotta keep winning our games. I expected them to win today, didnt you guys? So although the game was cruel on Norwich, it's still the result I expected. Anything can happen as we enter the last few games. Arsenal seem to think they have it easy. There will be lots of surprises in store for all the clubs chasing the CL. Perhaps one of the surprises will be us actually beating Chelsea? Who knows, but we're just got to concentrate on our own results. COYS.
Neil Warnock: "You are shaken after feeling such an injustice when a man 50-yards away gives a decision for a penalty that no Arsenal player appeals for. "You have a busy linesman over there. I get in trouble so much about referees but now I can say what I want. "That penalty that started this would not have been given at the other end of the pitch."

it happens week in, week out and the ref was better positioned to see it than the lino and didn't have a problem with it. The lino changed the game on his own for you there. Ah well, game on for the run in. The sprint finish has started now.
That's fair enough, but this isn't the first points that Arsenal have got dubiously. They've had a few dives and other dubious decisions too. What a lot of crap when people say these things even themselves out over the season. Is it too much to expect that the league table will be decided on merit rather than by refs. "The table doesn't lie" is one more cliché that is actually complete bollox.
Ah yes, a free corner was how the ref intended to sell the game to us. Anyway, at 3-1 this game wasn't even close, completely dominated them.
Nah, I don't expect any results for the run in, we're all inconsistent and they could easily have dropped points against West Brom or Norwich just as we dropped points at home to Fulham and Chelsea against Southampton.
According to the Beeb, the linesman was 50yds away when he gave the penalty. A penalty that not one Arsenal player appealed for...what a twat!..
Yes, the rules say it was a penalty. But "they don't usually call those." We certainly didn't get one which had exactly the same merit against Everton, one we desperately needed. We haven't gotten a penalty the entire year. So for Arsenal to get that pen after a corner that never was, well, Warnock so far has said it best.
Typical "big 4" officiating. Sick of it. Goals not given against, ghost goals given for, penalties given for and not against. Have we even had a penalty this season? We certainly don't get many
Actually if you look the camera angle from the ref's perspective, he wasn't best positioned. You barely see his hand grabbing the shirt from that angle, but it was clear from the side camera.

If it's correct, as the BBC claim, that not a single one of your players, presumably including Giroud himself, appealed for a penalty, I think that says it all really!...
Nah that's Warnock saying that, he was nowhere near it though, it was at the far side of a crowded area from him but some players gave a half hearted appeal, I think. The real mess was the corner being given in the first place, Snodgrass(I think) was shielding the ball got barged over making no contact with the ball in the process and the lino gave a corner. He couldn't have even seen any contact if there was some because the Arsenal player falling over was blocking his view. That's the way it goes sometimes, as much as I think the lino's a cheat, Arsenal were pressuring and did well to overturn the scoreline. Now lets hope we start getting some luck
