I think Chelsea have a lot of "pensioners" playing for them now,but.....they seem to be getting the job done... which is more than you can say about us. I'm hoping we don't stink up the league like we did last season........erm,we ain't fielding our reserve team against City, are we?
Might be interesting to see how he'd react to interest from Real or Barca. Chelsea wouldn't want to sell him at any cost though, of course.
Did you do any research on this or just make it up? Have you got the figures that show our results with him and then with out him? I await your factual findings with great interest.
According to Soccerbase, Mata has only missed 5 games entirely for you this season, CPofL. Your record in those games is W:1, D:2, L:2. QPR away, Swansea away, Boro away in the FA Cup, Southampton away and Rubin Kazan away. Win percentage of 55% with him and only 20% without. It becomes even more stark if you only include his starts. Of the 12 games that he's not been in your starting XI you have only won 2. 5 draws, 5 losses. Win percentage of 61% when he starts and only 17% when he doesn't. That's pretty incredible, actually. I knew he was influential, but that's an immense change. Juan man team!
Excellent work PNP...don't know about you, but I'm 'waiting with great interest' as to what CPofL KTBFFH has to say.
Only 2 of those are first choice and one is outfield. Statistics show you are more reliable on Bale than we are on Mata. We've still got quality outside him but he's by far our best player at the moment for sure
He's made it clear he won't go to either of them as he doesn't rate La Liga and blames Real/Barca for killing the league, plus there's no way Barca would take an ex-Real academy graduate so we can rule them out there and then. We're not a selling club though and are amongst the top bracket of clubs in Europe so we don't need to sell top players and more to the point, they wouldn't want to leave.
GTFI The Norwich, Taking points off all our rivals and giving us 6 points a season. I love this club! Please hold on Canaries
