Apparently, teams do win when he predicts them to. I see no reason why we should buck the trend.
**** sakes, i knew when Lineker reminded him he'd do that. Cheers Lawro, definatly going to lose now.
This is undoubtedly in response to Lineker's Twitter followers alerting and he hauling Lawro over the coals about it on MOTD.
EDIT: Blimey, Peter Alliss has agreed with my score prediction..! I've always liked him.
I went to Peter Alliss's 70th birthday party. He was absolutely lovely. This may be the thing that counters Lawro's curse and allows us to win. Maybe.
Or the fact that is we're simply the better team and we'll beat them.
Stop worrying, people. We'll either win or we won't. I think we will.
Significantly, I don't think it'll be a draw.
I like hearing him grovel and squirm, you know that there is utterly no truth in his words when he says he is not doing it to appease saints fans, but he also can't publicly say he hates us as a pundit. Only thing that will make us lose on saturday is the team, predictions have nothing to do with how we play.
Having said that I think a win is a tough ask, might happen but West Ham are a good side, wont be easy, if we win I think it will be because a bit of luck went our way.
He's only buckling under the pressure from Saints fans ..... not that he actually thinks, deep down, we'll win.
