Something I heard on Sky News. When there was all the talk of moving foreign diplomats out of North Korea, they mentioned an April 10th deadline to move them out, in preparation for something on the 15th.

He is not a xenophobe. Someone is very misguided.
He doesn't want a massive influx of lazy, selfish, benefit claiming immigrants, this doesn't mean that he doesn't want immigrants, he wants immigrants to come to Britain to work.

He was elected, he just wasn't directly elected. Direct elections would just involve people who know nothing about European politics voting for the candidate from their own country simply because he's from their own country.

He was elected by the Council, whose members were elected by us.

Think about it like this: If we'd had direct elections for the EC in 2009, we would all have voted for Tony Blair. Just dwell on that thought for a moment. Him again.
