Fran, you're from Newport, so for a lad from East Cowes (originally, not currently), you form part of an untouchable group of demi-gods & godesses.
My occasional visits to The Savoy cinema meant that I travelled to the metropolis and marvelled at the new-fangled traffic lights in St Thomas' square, outside Timothy Whites. Then back home on the Number 5 bus, leaving the bright lights behind. Ah, them were the days.

Timothy White's...there's a blast from the past. We have a roundabout with lights now and a small stretch of dual carriageway...Newport is practically a city now.
I did say the other day that Saints fans tend to be a little more educated than other teams.Good, 'cos I am lissome
A Caveat though. You'll have all the non Saints fans having to google that word. They should thank you for aiding their learning but they won't, because they will see it as a minus having to do it rather than a plus for gaining knowledge.
I thought it was something to do with Cheddar Gorge. i.e. there is a caveat Cheddar?
