If they broke our 95 point record it would be a travesty. Less likely now.

    95 points
    100 goals

They can still reach 98 so if we win at OT no new record. Simple.

Even matching it would be an injustice. Hopefully they will take their foot off the gas and draw a few games. They've been ordinary since real thus far

I can see Arsenal and a midweek night game at West Ham being potential dropped points.

I think the main difference between United and the rest of us are that United consistently do this business against sides lower down the table. We can more than match them when we play against them as shown this season.

3 goals, substitions, etc. your right about the end of the 1st half though as it happened to us at the bernabeu in the 2nd half though, we would be hypocrites to dismiss that.

Have none of you ever heard the announcer say there will be a minimum of x mins added, this is because the ref advises the fourth official before the actual 90 are up, this leaves room for further stoppages to happen so more time may be added. You should only complain when the ref blows before the minimum time has passed.

If our Clown had played stronger teams against "lower" opposition we should have around 9 more points. Still not enough to beat Utd who deserve the title for their consistency, but on the pitch we are not too far off the pace. 2nd place was ours to lose, and Coco found a way to lose it.

You will be in the top two next season, with the return of some of your loan players and a decent manager you will have a very strong squad.

the difference between United and the rest is RVP or should i say has been his dip in form has exposed Uniteds lack of goal scorers throughout the team especially in midfield things havent been helped by Kagawa's injury issues but even with him Cleverley and Carrick aint going to score regularly neither is Giggs.

I do struggle to see how they've managed to pick up so many wins. Credit to them but this team doesn't look a patch on Arsenal's invincibles, Jose's Chelsea or United with Ronaldo; yet this could yet be the highest points total ever for a 38 game season. Mental.

RVP made a massive difference and I think they have been very focused having lost the title so cruely last year. But I think even if they improve their squad over the summer, they wont get to this stage with as many points next year.

I think our team has just been efficient all year. People always seem to step up when they need to. We just can't seem to get the whole team to step up in the big games. I'd agree that we're not nearly as good as the Invincibles, Jose's Chelsea, or United with Ronaldo. Although I'd say the closest comparison would be the Invincibles, due to our underwhelming performances where we just pick up points.

It'll take quite a few years for any team to even have a chance of breaking the points record. The league is getting stronger, the big teams may not be as good as they have been in the past, but there's a lot more teams pushing around in the top half of the table than there has been, and I think we may end up seeing the lowest points tally by a league champion in the coming years. Especially considering Chelsea, City, and Arsenal won't be as poor as they were this year.

United have been consistent without being brilliant
Ourselves City and Arsenal have just thrown away to many points this season
