Winning Points totals do seem to getting higher though.

No team has got 90 points plus back to back apart from JCFC. Maybe united could do it next season?

RVP has scored 19 league goals, i think the other 52 must have come from somewhere!

This means if you take RVP out of the team we have scored 5 less than City with their four top strikers (3 since Jan) and 9 less than Chelsea with their 3 amigo`s and two strikers. I think if we had played Hernandez all season he may have scored more than 9 extra gaols and certainly more than 5 so there must be some other difference.

Got to get to 90 points this season first!

We've been atrocious since the Madrid game, and have had multiple games that should have been a wake up call and have still been poor.

I've said this for months on end. The Premier League is nowhere as strong as it was back when we won it.

Southampton, Palace and all the other sides at the bottom were decent. Palace got credible results against Arsenal and Liverpool as did Southampton and others.

Arsenal were an awesome side, Man U were good but not as good as them, Everton Liverpool were also strong as were Spurs etc. Back then we could have had 5/6 sides in he CL that would have comfortably made it to the last 16, don't even think we have more than 2/3 to be honest.

Don't think United will break our record, can see us getting a result at Old Trafford again and also think Arsenal might get a draw, I reckon they'll equal our 05/06 record though which is the 3rd best I believe.

The way United play now suits playing away from home. As I suspected they haven't had as much joy against Spurs, Chelsea, City, Liverpool as they did away from home.

its more open and unpredictable now though as any team can get a result against any team, when Chelsea won their titles back then they walked to both of them, apart from this season all our title wins have mainly been open to others until the last few months but no on except Liverpool in 08/09 and Chelsea in 06/07 and 07/08 kept pace.

I disagree, I think it's very much the opposite. Norwich aside, every team Man U have lost against has been a top side (no disrespect to Norwich). I'd say there are far fewer shock defeats than ever before.

    Hull winning at the Emirates
    Boro beating United regularly
10 man Sheffield United beating Arsenal
Charlton beating Chelsea 5 times in a row.

These results are few and far between now, you expect Chelsea to play Norwich at home and win, and 19/20 that will happen. Football has become boring and predictable, in the PL at least anyway. Anyone think City won't beat Wigan on Wednesday or Man U won't beat Stoke on Saturday? Nope, me neither.

City at home to Wigan should be a routine home win, and all the big teams have struggled at Stoke especially us so cant see it being predictable

So UTD have won and lost v City
    Won V Chelsea
    Won V Arsenal
    Loss and Draw v Spuds
    Win and Loss v Everton
    Draw ad loss v RM

so where are UTD poor against top teams (other than spuds this season)

Cup game v Chelsae is irreverent has UTD played a weaker team at kick off

A poor record for United. They used to win most of those

Chelsea have always been a hard game for UTD and Everton have given a us a hard time of the last few years, City have come on leaps and bounds with the ££££ they have spent, so I cant complain with the record we have this season against the top clubs.

The only team in the top 4 we haven't beaten this season is Tottenham. Unless by big games you mean cup games, then I'd agree. We walked backwards through the CL group stages.

You didn't beat Chelsea, the officials did and you were gifted the 3 points. In the other 3 games you were duly found out. You best City thanks to a lucky deflected goal after they battered you for 45 minutes.
