Best post-war PM IMO- Harold Wilson. Amongst other things his government set up the Open University, supported British Industries and distanced us from US foreign policy which I believe led Ted Heath to seek British Memebership of the Common Market (EU). Well would you want to be seen posing with that ugly mug Nixon?

I think (and I should really know my exam on british politics is in a month) he also legalised same sex relationships in the UK as well. May not have been him though, I really need to revise.

I think that was the present coalition!! I think under his government that same sex relationships were decriminalised!! Not sure though. May have been one of these situations brought about by a private members bill as Harold's Government was not that radical regarding certain social issues that exist today but were publicly aired a great deal.

That's what I said isn't it? I didn't mean marriage or civil partnerships!

Well my fellow Saints fans, and Pompey, and WHU visitors. I am off to Russia tomorrow for six weeks teaching English. I am heading to Yekaterinburg which is to the East of the Ural mountains. It will be a wonderful experience. Although hesitant at first, I have face the fact that life is about sometimes taking yourself outside the comfort zone. Really looking forward to this challenge. Although I will miss the Saints, this is bigger for me. Then in the summer I could be teachng in Mallorca staying with a lovely German lady with who came over last week with another friend. So whilst Saints were beating Reading, I was trampling outside in the blazing sunshine of the Brecon Beacons where there was still considerable amounts of snow on top of the hills. If you have never been there, it can be fantastically beatiful under a clear blue sky at this time of year.

Have a nice time TIOM! Although presumably you'll still have internet to keep connected with all Saints news as we continue our climb up the league and to world domination.

Have fun in Russia TIOM!

It's just dawned on me that I'm due to be up early tomorrow. Supposed to be interviewing Phil Brown and a player at Southend United's training ground tomorrow.

Quite looking forward to it. Be good to speak to Ben Reeves.

Two summers ago I brought a group of Kosovan students for a stadium tour of St Mary's stadium and they were impressed as they don't have a stadium of that quality there. I am sure they will be noticing Southampton's upward progress.

You guys are making me feel like I do nothing with my life.
