mostly been ok Yid, Giggs had committed 4 fouls though with 1 cynical and not booked yet, not really any big chances yet though
Oh,I remember Dave Mackay.Best all round player I ever saw.Scored great goals, had the most delicate touch and would slide tackle and nearly always won the ball.Probably be sent off every week in todays football as would Graham Roberts! I have a photo hanging up in my basement of Mackay holding Billy Bremner by the throat with Bremner asking what he had done! You always needed to hold Bremner by the throat and not turn your back on him!
"I know you haven't got it in your hand yet Robin, but would we really have a PL winners medal each if we'd stayed with those ****ers!"
Kompany OG. Unfortunate for him. Not sure who I want to win this. A defeat could demoralise City before we play them, but I don't want Arsenal to face Utd when they've got nothing to play for.
Absolutely briiliant RVP, now that is what you call free kick delivery, why can't any of our players get even close to something like that.
More chance of Citeh losing interest in defeat than United not trying as Champions-elect - especially as they have no other games to focus on...... Going to stick with my original wish!!
True. Utd have a few games before they face the Goons too, so they'll probably put it beyond their neighbours before that game, anyway.
Aguero sticks up a big middle finger to United's banks of 4/5 running through them like they're not there. Great finish too.
It's his own fault - Rooney has been a passenger for most of this half and the rest are having to do his running for him. Can't believe that he is still on.
Man U are playing a fair load of old codswallop at the mo aren't they? Lost to Real then drew and lost to Chelsea after being 2-0 up in the first match and now an own goal which is no good is it? Where are their strikers? Also Sunderland was an own goal as a postscript. Not good.
fail to get 6 points from Stoke and West Ham away which is possible and we can fear the worst. the media will be happy with that result as they can say the title race is still possibly open
I'm glad City waited until they were 15 points behind before they decided to start competing. Where was this passion and intensity the rest of the time?
You've had late blips before Dave and recovered but your present form and results are not good. In three of those matches I mentioned you failed to score in all three, the opposition scored for you and one was a plonk.
If I was Fergie I would count this as a nothing game (if you forget the fans!).Let City turn it on and knock themselves out (how many yellow cards) then pick it up against the minnows!!!!!
