A couple of days ago, Mauricio said that a sacked manager in Spain cannot take a job in the same league during the same season (referring to Saints facing Adkins). Just realised that that meant he couldn't get a job in Spain and was therefore available for us.

Maybe we're just a stepping stone and he'll be off to Real Madrid in the summer.

I would disagree with that. Of my closest female friends, some have never been in a relationship as far as I'm aware and so there's only so much insight you can provide when you have no direct experience of something, and a couple could provide good sources of advice but I've not really spoken to them in a while. And I'm not sure with other female friends I'm really close enough to be able to ask for relationship advice (though I did ask the opinion of an American girl who I met on an online dating website last year), but then in real life there's only one male I feel I can ask advice from. To be fair, most of my friends are female for some reason. And the girl in question's already met most of them at my birthday party last year!

None of the guys here have offered bad advice or taken the piss.
 
Quality. My Facebook newsfeed is flooded with people going to Wembley.

Also, Paul Sturrock (who they sacked just before the final), is in the pub with the fans and travelling up on the coaches with them.

What a guy.

I so hope Phil brown doesn't get to lift a trophy at Wembley. He is such an egotistical twat. I shuddered that day he went on the radio and announced he'd been interviewed by Saints and thought he'd get the job.

Yeah, I don't like him as a bloke. Maybe he can push Southend on, but I liked Sturrock. He did great down here with not a bean to spend.
 
I like Sturrock, had some health issues and always seems to be a decent chap. I just have to go for the Alex as I can't have Phil Brown gloating.
