10 points from 15 for City and it should be job done, or is it?

It's hard to predict how any of these fixtures will go for anyone. Us and Watford could lose all 5 or win all 5 such is this league. I think another 10 points should be enough but even with 5 games left it is hard to say that for definite. The only certainty is that we'll be in the Premier League next season if we win all of our games.

Really?? Not heard about this, tell me more??

Well I think it could be a boycott against some Londoner rebranding an area with a different name.

I can't for the life of me think of the area or it supposed 'wrongly forced' new name...

I think it maybe Hackney and Tottenham, being called North London?

<laugh>

But surely we've all heard of building bridges-meaning coming closer together bob? And with such a magnificent bridge......we are as one.

Ian Ridley in the Mail on Sunday has us down as a play off. With Watford and Cardiff going up. Surely how we get the points does not matter, as long as we do not lose more than Watford, isn't it going to be on how many we or they lose that counts.
What we shouldn't do is lose sight of the fact that it is us who are in second, not them. We are not there because of what other teams have done, we are there because we have the points. Form guides are useless in this league, Peterborough, who wants to back Watford against them? Watford only beat them one nil last time and they have done both us and Cardiff, they might be second from bottom but they are capable on the day. Right through to final day there are matches for all three clubs at the tops that are like that.

Only speaking the truth, and on paper someone would have to be mad to bet against Watford in any of those (with a possible exception of Leicester if they actually manage to turn it round by then).

But as everyone already said this is the championship and what should happen on paper more often than not happens the opposite way.

I expect us to struggle against Ipswich, Wolves and Cardiff, but given the nature of this league we'll probably beat those 3 and lose to Bristol and Barnsley.

One things for sure though if I could choose either set of fixtures I'd pick Watfords in a heart beat without having to think twice.

Well as you don't ever think once, Sh1tty, it's highly unlikely you'd ever think twice!

Well, here's our 5 games left:

Ipswich (a)
Wolves (a)
Bristol (h)
Barnsley (a)
Cardiff (h)

Of those matches, the 10 (or 9) points will likely majority come from our next 3 games. I'd expect us to beat Ipswich, Bristol and Barnsley at the least, so there is 9.

You will have to score against us to do that!

We have only conceded 3 goals in the last 11 games and 5 consecutive clean sheets so good luck with that!

0-0 or 1-0 to Town I reckon <ok>

Come on you Tigers. Don't forget we have a goal hungry Matty Fryatt ready for next game UTT

But you have only won 13 out of 41
57 goals scored against your 40
18 points in our last ten against your 17

Stats mean **** all mate **** all in this league.
