I saw that and wasn't sure if it was for real! He could probably still do a job for us, yet alone Guernsey. 
I see the write up on the Beeb website gets his details wrong again. The other week they suggested he was a striker, and therefore he was not in the list of Midfielders Scoring in the Premier League, and now this week they've taken his overall appearances of 541 and coupled it with his league goals of 162. It's actually 209 [some lists say 210].
