Thumb - I couldnt get a finger - Lol.

Its that really annoying finger thing he does when he wins!

Of course non of us wants to get relegated and I hope to God it does not happen.. Will Pulis move or be pushed in the Summer? I doubt it. I just hope that Coates and Co will finally wake up and do something other than give Pulis money to waste next season because that is what he will do, he's taking the P*** and it's killing me personally.

Smither's
Pulis has had almost FIVE season's to learn about this league, from where I'm looking nothing is changing and it's a worry and it's what's hacking most of us off big time IMO.

It's the fans fault if the team gets relegated now - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...t-I-are-Celtic-warriors-but-NOT-worriers.html

TONY PULIS insists today’s relegation clash with Aston Villa will feature two Celtic warriors not WORRIERS.

The Stoke boss heads into today’s six-pointer with criticism of Potters’ footballing style from his own chief scout Lindsay Parsons still ringing in his ears.

And he knows victory for third-bottom Villa will move Paul Lambert’s kids to within a point of his side — and really turn the screw on him after seven years of success at the Britannia.

But the Welsh dragon claims he has the fire in his belly to handle the heat — just as Braveheart Lambo has done at Villa.

Pulis said: “Paul has done exceptionally well and I’ve got a lot of time for him. He’s a very sound character and very strong — a typical Celt!

“He knows what he wants and he’ll stand by himself. In the heat of battle, even if there’s no one around backing him, he’ll keep fighting. I’m like that myself and it’s probably in our Celtic blood.”

But the battle-hardened Welshman will be going all out to spill Lambo’s blood today.

And he insists he remains the right man to lead Stoke to safety.

He said: “There’s huge significance in who was relegated last season.

“There was disharmony at Blackburn where the fans wanted Steve Kean out, at Bolton once fans decided Owen Coyle wasn’t for them and disharmony at Wolves when they decided to get rid of Mick McCarthy.

“Look at where that has put those clubs, they are in the Championship.

“My message to Stoke fans would be, ‘Let’s be different to those other places’. We need togetherness as much as we needed it the year we won promotion.”

Chief scout Lindsay Parsons has admitted that Stoke City manager Tony Pulis missed out on a number of foreign players that have gone on to set the Premier League alight.

Parsons, 67, confirmed that he recommended the likes of Demba Ba, Hatem Ben Arfa, Cheick Tiote and even Emmanuel Adebayor before he moved to Arsenal to the under-fire Welsh supreme.

Pulis knocked back each of the recommendations and stated that the players were too small for Stoke and their route one style, a style that infuriates Pulis` long time advisory.

Parson told The Mirror: "We have loads of disagreements because I don't like the way they play, and I will never change on that.

Hmmm never did appreciate the Sun's rhetoric:

Welsh dragon - who he?
Celtic Warriors - who dey?

Pontypool Plonker more like

Putting aside Sun rhetoric, the message is right, let's get behind the team but a bit of a hint of desperation in the comments and I'm not sure I would have used Blackburn as the comparison

Well right now I'm not the slightest bit interested in what Pulis has to say..
I also read a piece yesterday where Pulis said " It's possible to lose our next FIVE games, then win the last TWO, that would see us safe" TOTAL and utter Bull**** for me it sends out the wrong vibes to the TEAM and the FANS.. ballcocks to this.

I'm up for it today fellas let's just sing our heads off and as Nick say's.. SOD what Pulis say's or thinks. K T F one and all.

Looks like Mr Parson's saw what we did ages back?
But hey, when did Pulis ever listen to anybody but himself.. we all make mistakes but as Smither's say's. Doing the same thing over and over etc is....

There was a thread for this done by sarge so I will merge.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has dismissed suggestion of a rift with chief scout
Tony Parsons, who has worked with him at five clubs over nearly 20 years,
regarding the style of play at the Britannia Stadium.

I am unsure what to make of this article. They have obvioulsy worked together for a long time, but of if the article is accurate then it does seem that TP's decissions are being called into question. It also highlights the quality players we could have signed and the money the club could have made by selling them on - either way if the the final decission is TP's (which Coates comfirmed a couple of months back) then it would appear that the internal camp is growing restless.

Well
At least I was up for it RTP it's a pity the TEAM were NOT.. well fooked off now and listening to Clueliss just made it ten times worse.

Pulis needs to go tonight, from todays display if he stays we are down. If he goes we have an outside chance of staying up. The choice is the season ticket holders, they fill the stadium and its up to them.

I think todays perfromance was poor and not one you would expect from a boss who has full control of his team. Up to this point I have been of the opinion that it would be suicide (like Sunderland) to make a change and was relying on any integrity TP may have left to leave in the Summer and give a new manager the chance to work with the squad and bring in players he wants/needs. However, today was shocking and we were simply not good enough in any area of the pitch and that for me is the signal that it has now gone too far.

Rumours circulating that TP has just left the Brit after a meeting - potentially left/sacked.

Fortress Britannia are unable to confirm or deny! Watch this space!
