It's the fans fault if the team gets relegated now -

TONY PULIS insists todayâs relegation clash with Aston Villa will feature two Celtic warriors not WORRIERS.
The Stoke boss heads into todayâs six-pointer with criticism of Pottersâ footballing style from his own chief scout Lindsay Parsons still ringing in his ears.
And he knows victory for third-bottom Villa will move Paul Lambertâs kids to within a point of his side â and really turn the screw on him after seven years of success at the Britannia.
But the Welsh dragon claims he has the fire in his belly to handle the heat â just as Braveheart Lambo has done at Villa.
Pulis said: âPaul has done exceptionally well and Iâve got a lot of time for him. Heâs a very sound character and very strong â a typical Celt!
âHe knows what he wants and heâll stand by himself. In the heat of battle, even if thereâs no one around backing him, heâll keep fighting. Iâm like that myself and itâs probably in our Celtic blood.â
But the battle-hardened Welshman will be going all out to spill Lamboâs blood today.
And he insists he remains the right man to lead Stoke to safety.
He said: âThereâs huge significance in who was relegated last season.
âThere was disharmony at Blackburn where the fans wanted Steve Kean out, at Bolton once fans decided Owen Coyle wasnât for them and disharmony at Wolves when they decided to get rid of Mick McCarthy.
âLook at where that has put those clubs, they are in the Championship.
âMy message to Stoke fans would be, âLetâs be different to those other placesâ. We need togetherness as much as we needed it the year we won promotion.â
