Personally I'd say he's a left wing forward, in a Neymar sort of mould. Fantastic talent. I'll be surprised if he's not at somewhere like Bayern/ Barca/ Real etc time within 2-3 years if he continues his progress.

Yeah. Sadly I don't know any Dutch. Mind you the best Dutch related joke I heard was from the old-606 board when someone in a thread about transfer targets said we were interested in "Hertz van Rental".
Scott Parker describes Jan Vertonghen as a 'Rolls Royce' of a player.
The Belgium international has been so impressive in his first season at Spurs. Playing centre-back of left-back, Jan has appeared in 41 of our 45 matches in all competitions this season, including every minute of the Europa League. Today he was named Barclays Player of the Month for March.
He's also become quite a weapon in our opponents' half with six goals, including four in the Premier League and four in the last six against Liverpool, Inter Milan and Swansea.
We saw all sides to Jan's game at the Liberty Stadium as he opened the scoring, made the assist for Gareth Bale's fine strike for 2-0 and later on, showed his defensive class as we were put under pressure by the home team.
"You probably wouldn't expect me to say anything else, but Jan's been nothing short of fantastic, an unbelievable player," said Scott.
"He shows great composure on the ball, works hard, is an athlete and you've seen the goals he's scored as well.
"He's been massive for us this season and you can only see him getting stronger and stronger.
"Technically, he's a very gifted footballer. He's like a Rolls Royce, he glides around the pitch so effortlessly, he can step out with the ball and he's nicked a few goals as well. That's invaluable."

For me, Jan is the best defender we have had in years, as good as Ledley potentially, but without the crumbling knees. Partnered with Kaboul, we have as good a pairing as anybody in the EPL. The idea of pushing him forward leaves me baffled. You build winning teams from the back four forward. Let's get that right first.
Exactly. The vast majority of the world's best sides nowadays give very little away. In fact the reason that PL sides have done so poorly in Europe this year is, to a large part, down to poor defending. You seem to be able to get away with it in the PL as nobody else can defend well, either.
In Europe you get found out.
