Not revelling in injuries at all. Just pointing out the fact that you are so heavily reliant on Bale, and to a lesser extent Lennon to provide any penetration. This was proved tonight, where Bale did bugger all apart from injure himself in a challenge he didn't have to make. There was a quote in the commentary saying you haven't won a game where Bale has failed to score since New Year's Day ffs. What more proof do you need. I really don't see you beating them in Switzerland, but who knows? You managed to get 2 spawny goals, in a game you should have lost tonight, so chins up!
I'd ask how your lot got on Gaf, but I know that you were knocked out by the side that Basel beat in the last round, so I won't bother. When was the last time that Liverpool won a game that Suarez didn't either score in or win a penalty, by the way? I make it West Ham on December 9th.
After reading on this very forum, as well as other Spurs forums, several times, posters here hoping for tackles and whatnot that would injure Suarez, sometimes saying hopefully ending his career, you'll forgive me if I don't feel or display any sympaty for Spurs sudden winger and best player injury crisis. Bales looks like your run of the mill ankle ligaments so depending on whether he has strained them, tore them, or completely ruptured them right through, he's looking at 4 weeks till 100% at a minimum, double that if he's torn them. Arsenal and their Goons must be pissing themselves all the way to the CL.
I see that in a current survey Liverpool has been named as one of the five " least sensible cities" in the UK. I wonder why that is??
You Mousers better hope we can still do a job on Everton, overwise you won't have any hope of finishing above them
And you lot call us bitter. Jeez. I was only pointing out how you are gonna miss you're one man goal machine, and how it could affect the end of your season. I never claimed we would finish above you HIAG, you keep making your **** up. And as for PNP. You are usually quite a reasonable poster, so dunno what your problem is. Not getting any? Tbh I think you lot realise you're gonna finish below arsenal again, and it hurts. I also agree with Toela. I've seen loads of spurs fans on this forum and others wishing that Suarez gets badly injured. Karma's a bitch, ain't it?
You'll have no problem finding some examples on this forum then? Oh and Toela, if you lurk on so many Spurs boards, like you say, then you should have seen that we're hoping he'll be back for the City game, missing 2 games. See Reverend, this is why some of your fans give you a bad name, one bad result/performance in a competition you got knocked out of and whilst we're still way out ahead of you in the league, the gloating begins and all the bitterness oozes out. They'll go back to being quiet little mice if we win at least one of our next 2 games I'm sure but until then they can enjoy predicting our doom just like they've done all season.
That's football fans for you, its the same as the mocking of our League Cup (whatever its called) last season against lowly Cardiff, a competition everyone else got knocked out of (of course they didn't really want to win it). Come on now, tell me you don't laugh at Chelsea every time they get beat?
Arsenal yes, Chelsea not so much but Liverpool aren't rivals either in the location sense or for Champions League places and we didn't lose. You can bet I wouldn't be on Arsenals board trying to gloat about them drawing a home CL game and getting a player injured if we weren't in the competition and were 9 points behind them in the league though. Infact I wouldn't revel in an injury ever but I guess lots of people have been waiting for him to get injured as he's been on such good form and the jealousy kicks in.
No one is gloating. Just pointing out facts. Don't see what's so hard to understand about that. You lot are just too sensitive.
Liverpool fans are on this thread for no other reason than its purpose is to mock us. As you point out we are not rivals in any way (now or historically) which is why I find this thread so fascinating. I wont go on the Utd board because frankly I couldn't care less what they think of us and I know what petty arguments will be on there. Until I found this thread I would look at Spurs results with mild interest in the same way I see a Newcastle result. You understand surely that this thread is going to attract jabs at your expense, in the same way talk of 'Power Shifts' brings much joy and laughter.
