Police in Liverpool have arrested 3 of 4 well known scouse Islamic terrorists. Bin Snort-in, Bin Deal-in and Bin Thieving, there is no sign of Bin Work-in

Why wasn't Jesus born in Liverpool?

He couldn't find three wise men and a virgin.

Did anyone see Michael Owen on Football Focus this afternoon? Suggested that Liverpool ruined his career, basically.
He couldn't work out why Newcastle fans blamed him for being constantly injured either, despite admitting that he missed a year because he played in an international that he shouldn't have.
Now he seems to be attempting to carve out some sort of agent/guru role for himself with young players, as management is too much work.

    What a twat.

I hate it when players come out and say that once they've retired. How exactly did Liverpool ruin his career? When he was playing with them they were probably as good as they've been at any time since they last won the league. Not surprised he's looking to be an agent - neevr struck me as the most altruistic of players so probably cannot wait to fill his pockets and seems to care more about his horses. That may be unfair of course as i've never met him!

He thinks that they played him too often and didn't give him any time to recover, putting him in when he wasn't fully fit and burning him out. They Torresed him up.
Said that he loved it there and that he wouldn't change it for the world, but that he'd have been better off at Man Utd.
Not sure what he's trying to do with that statement, to be honest.

Pretty much this - although a portion of the blame can also be put on England for exacerbating the problem by playing him regardless of fitness and injury.

I remember when Duncan Ferguson got his house robbed. Unfortunately for the Robber, Ferguson was home and caught him... And beat the **** out of him.

Them. One ran away and the other spent three days in hospital.
If you're going to rob one of the various footballers on Merseyside, then don't choose the 6'4" Glaswegian who's been done for assault four times.

  16. With us winning our game and moving back into 3rd, we have the luxury of being able to relax and see how 'Pool get on against Villa, tomorrow.

Lawro has predicted an easy win for 'Pool. Then again, this is the same twat who predicted that we'd only manage a draw against Swansea, and the Chavs would beat Saints.

I'm predicting a far harder game for them, as I feel they've been punching well above their weight, in recent games, and have been flattering to deceive. I think we'll see a return to the kind of mid-table form that 'Pool has displayed for most of the season.

Either way, it's all rather academic, which with us and the Gooners winning today, and with Everton likely to take 3 points off Stoke; 'Pool aren't looking to finish any higher than 7th. They can, at least, count their blessings that the Baggies lost, since that eases the pressure on them for another week, and will mean that they won't be dropping down to 8th just yet.

I seem to have got all my little red bars back courtesy of Astroturd, who apparently objected to what I wrote about his equally brain dead colleague BBF.

I'm not sure who I enjoy winding up more Peskie, or single digit I.Q. mousers. <laugh>

The blue Mousers are 6 points off us with a game in hand and playing us nest weekend. They did drop off but it's time to start getting worried about them again, I think.

Their run in is too difficult for a top 4 place imo.

Agreed. They still have to play each of the top 4 and there's a small matter of a Merseyside derby to contend with too.
