Do they have a choice? Plus there's been rumours circulating around the german media that a deal has already been agreed, not sure of the original source though. Back to the trio though, does anyone ever see Wenger paying 70 million for just 3 players? And how did the mirror do the maths? Lewandowski is valued at 25M, but will probably go for a little less, Watzke (Dortmund chairman) is a tough negotiator, but doesn't allow players to hold the club to ransom Gotze is valued anywhere between 25-40 Million, you can guarantee Watzke will try and get the highest price there, considering Gotze has a lot of years on his contract, and is a Dortmund fan. Bender is a german international, he's young, and he's in great form, so 15 million would be likely. That totals 80 million.
Pretty much really. He hasn't said he wants to leave though. But Dortmund are linked to strikers already, Dzeko looking like the priority.

Like him, but not for 10 million. The kid is supremely talented though, Zaha got all the media hype, IMO Williams is better.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/388789/Arsenal-pondering-re-signing-Barcelona-s-Alex-Song Rubbish source, but out of interest, would anyone on here take Song back?
So we go back to two seasons ago... just without Cesc and RVP? Arteta is a better all-round player for that position. It's possible that Song has greater defensive attributes, though I would say Arteta reads the game better, commits fewer pointless fouls, and is very good at interceptions. However, Arteta plays as a pivot, dictating the game with long passes. He is typically the starting point for each attack. In this regard, he is a more useful all round player to have in the position. If we want to get a DM, get a proper one. Someone who can add to the team. Wanyama would top my list, even if it takes 30 million.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8615709/? Can't say I watch him every week, but when we played Marseille last season, he really caught my eye. Two very impressive performances, and he did not give RVP a sniff. Can play as a CB or as a full back. If someone like Sagna leaves, then getting a player like this would be great.
I would take Song back, good player and a nice guy. However if we are to sign a DM Wanyama would be my preference. Hope the Jovetic rumours are true.
He's just turned 23 and has mainly played as a Second Striker or on the wing. Even so its clear he has 'World Class' ability. Much like a young RVP he tends to score technically brilliant goals. He's a risk because who knows wether he will realise his potential or not but for me I would rather we signed Jovetic than 99% of the players we have been linked to. For the simple reason that with the right guidance - he could be an absolutely incredible player.
