Hi Masked Man always good to have you here

I visited your board but got ambushed for my pains by a blue cat : Nice fellow he was - so polite too :)

It's quiet everywhere though - no league football is a downer.. Wales did wonderfully last night - always love to see Scotland get beaten and especially by Wales who were robbed many years back in 2 world cups by the haggies

Is Hi-Yo Welsh? No my friend, back in the day when I was but a young child, and Old Sparkey was 22, there was a cowboy called The Lone Ranger (The Masked Man), he was a hero of mine, and I believe the first time homosexual behaviour was shown on TV.
He would shoot up the Sheriff crying Hi-Yo! <whistle>

    Hi-Yo geitungur akureyrar

Is the blue cat's home town reknowned for it's abusive powers or is it just that he spends time with hatters during the week and some of their charm has rubbed off?

The game was exciting enough, Wales looked superb at times, then ordinary. Scotland hmmmmmm!.
As regards ambushed, did you say anything that could be misconstrued as a wind up! tell the truth. <whistle>

As it happens he obviously did misconstrue my remark - and refused to listen to my explanation

I was trying to say that one person's loophole is not another's. So for those who wind us up by saying we have exploited a loophole in the loan rule we get angry as it is not a loophole but a considered decision made by the FL NOT to treat foreign loans as loans - that did not happen by chance as they specifically defined them as transfers. If they want to change the rules that is fine but to accuse us of cheating as so many have is wrong. So I pointed out that having a couple of Welsh teams in an English league is regarded by some (but not me I made very clear) as a loophole. Cardiff fans may not see it that way nor do many others but I am afraid a lot of people do - hence why Rangers and Celtic cannot get into the English League. It may be they have been there for years but some do not like it and think it is a loophole that should be closed.

I realised that my remark had been taken as a wind up and apologised in my next post but not only did he ignore that but got personally abusive etc -and I usually retaliate - part of my Celtic background I like to think.

A guy from Swansea even came on and confirmed that they do get a lot of comments about it and he accepted that but still maintained that from his extensive knowledge of a few English clubs this was not a common view. He should try asking fans of other clubs what they think - I think he would be surprised.

I have no issue with the Welsh clubs being in the English system, just the fact that disciplinary appeals etc are heard by the FAW and not the FA. Also, don't forget that Shrewsbury and a couple of other English clubs have taken part in the Welsh Cup (I'm not counting Chester because either Sealand Road or the Deva Stadium crossed the border).

Very well said Zen! Kairdiff are indeed second to Swansea, and always will be! It will be very pleasing to take 6 points of these RedRobins next season, just to see the old codger from Porthcawl disappear back to his Riviera!...............................<cheers>

Hope you Watford boys make it, as you surely deserve some luck after Rodgers and MM!................<ok>

We could have a british league , but as nationally this was shot down in flames , I think that a welsh fa and welsh teams should play in a welsh league ,ditto the scots and the irish . If like the olmypics we have a Team GB then and only then should the internal leagues be integrated. Of course the Scottish referendum next year could kybosh this totally.By the way I believe none of this and am talking total bollocks;)
