Hi guys. We (QPR) seemed to have been linked with everyone and his dog so far. I've not heard of anyone that you have been linked with. Has there been anyone, and it has passed me by?
PL keeps transfer targets to himself and like most of last season the press is ignoring us and focusing on QPR and their rich owners. I guess the tabloids believe you can buy anyone you want, with Ecclestone & Co running the show, but we both know it is not going to happen and is not true.
I agree it is all press talk, and maybe the focus on us will allow you to sign players on the quiet. The press (and many of our supporters) do seem to struggle with the fact that just because the owners are rich, it doesn't mean the club is. However in the papers (the Sun!!!) today, it is reported that Lakshmi Mittal is going to launch a bid to take over QPR. That should get us all going again! Knowing us, it will happen the day the transfer window shuts!
The Sun reported we were in for Nicky Maynard, that's the only speculation we have seen from the press...other than Lambert is going to West Ham which seems to keep popping up.
Maynard is a possible. His name get mentioned from time to time on our board. Lambert would be nuts to go to West Ham, I can't see that happening. They will be offloading players like there is no tomorrow. To an outsider, he seems very well settled with you, and clearly the right man in the right job. Good luck next season.

Not sure about Kevin Phillips. How old is he now? Must be ancient Apparently West Ham are offering Demba Ba 60 grand a week to stay so think that writes him off too
To be honest though, it wasn't just his antics was it? We weren't good enough, simple as that. Next season however will be a lot different I feel. Would you still not like him in your team though? Remember Megson? Nobody liked him, unless he was playing for you.

Lambert is going to bring in 7 new signings. You will have heard of none of them they will have low ratings on championship manager and they will tear the premier league to pieces and you'll cry yourself to sleep at night failing to understand it. Lambert is a GOD!
That sounds like how it goes with Lambert, he is a legend and turns ok players into true top quality players.
