And funnily enough most of us here are so fkn glad we don't have Icelandic fans

send the twat a link to our board, I think he may need a little counselling from the experts

Funnily enough, I have a view that Iclandic people should butt out and concentrate on paying their debts to the rest of the world before they start commenting about football and other thigns they don't understand.

Well you are a nice fellow. I do live in Wales and am very pro Welsh teams on a personal level. I write on this forum as apart from you the people who contribute are polite and engage in friendly debate. What is your problem? Are you so stupid as to not realize that an awful lot of English people view Wales and the Welsh as many Welsh people do the English. Now I am not on here to start throwing stones as we have been welcomed into our valley by some of the nicest people I have ever come across and I have only positive feelings about Wales - hence adapting the Hornets colours with the Welsh dragon.

I suggest you leave whatever little dungheap you inhabit and travel across the border and talk to some English fans about their feelings about Welsh teams in "their" league. The truth may surprise you. In future try to read other people's posts properly so that you understand when a person is giving his personal opinion and when he is "guessing" (see that clue) what others think. Enough of you - keep your prejudices as they are probably all you own

It may be so that many English supporters don't think Welsh clubs should be in the league system, but really who cares. We are and we will be for a very long time.

I find those who take the "Welsh clubs out" line are normally a bit subpar in the conversation stakes and basically a bit backwards.

As for Watford, I agree with Hilts on this. They are doing what they feel they need to do. If they go up (which I think they will), it will be all roses I imagine.

It becomes pointless for supporters to try to take any moral high ground because most of us know what our clubs have done or may do if the chance to exploit a loophole was given to them.

We also see that many supporters have short memories and are happy to go all holier than thou over certain issues when they have had the same thing happen to their club. We witnessed this during the threat of our financial implosion last season and the shirt change this season.

All in all, life will go on and clubs will do whatever they think they can get away with.

I can't really understand the problem people have with the "Welsh" thing - funny how it never gets mentioned when things are not going so well - who said anything against Cardiff or Swansea when they were in the lower divisions? Yet a bit of success seems to breed jealousy. If the English teams are not good enough to deny Welsh teams promotion or a place in Europe that is their problem.

Hope you are right about Watford siam but I think that the pressure of playing for a new club in a new country has caught up with some of the loanees - especially Vydra who seems to have lost his touch. It has been a far better season than we had any right to expect so hopefull we can do what Cardiff did and if we miss out this year we can build on this season's success next year.

I have over-stayed my welcome here - but enjoyed the chat to most of you - so will return to my own board.

    Good luck in the Prem

Gracious, and oh dear! Hmm. Just to clear up a couple of points:

Yes, we can deny that for the simple reason that during this time we bought 8 players, all of them (if i remember rightly, without exception) were pretty awful and are either out on loan (shock horror) or have left the club. Ah, bar one, who never gets a game. Did they help us reach the lofty and unexpected heights of 11th last season? Perhaps, but that's hardly an advantage from the 14th the previous season, is it!

Watford are not a feeder club for the simple reason that it's highly likely that none of our loanees will ever play for Udinese, Granada or any other club they have come from. The only true 'loanee' is Nathaniel Chalobah who will go back to Chelsea. All the others will either stay with Watford or move on.

You seem happy that the rules will change. Sad for you, they change with only Watford having the benefit. All the other clubs who have suddenly realised that what Watford have done is a good idea, will find that door shut. Hey ho. Lucky us.

As Leonardo says, good luck in the Prem. I also believe that we won't go up this season, but will probably pass you on your way back down next season ;).

Always good bantering with Cardiff fans. Gutted i will be away on 6 April, enjoy the game!

Got to be fair to the Watford fans, apart from a bit of retaliatory mud slinnging (not surprising in the circumstances) in the main, on here, they come across as a pretty intelligent, well informed bunch who prefer a reasoned approach to debating rather than the "who can pi$$ highest up the wall" stuff we get from other boards.

I recall good old Clingo (where are you mate?) saying that he always enjoyed good conversations and banter with the Watford guys.

We tried to take full advantage of the loan system a couple of seaons ago and fell apart spectacularly. They have done the same thing but by a different route this season and still have a great chance of getting promoted, via the play offs if not automatically -just watch that bunch of trees coming up on your shoulder.

Should be a cracker of a game on 6th April. Just a pity we can't get more tickets. Apart from Bristol, Birmingham and Wolves, Watford is about as close to a local derby as we can get this season.

    :)

You really have earned the title of the most stupid Cardiff fan haven'-t you? Abuse and swearing and no real arguments. I have said nothing anti-Welsh in any post as I am very pro-Welsh - did you ever learn to read or are you getting someone to read these to you? You have explained it all though by admitting your Luton / Bedfordshire connection - that is your dungheap :)

I am so glad though that working with a few fans of a few clubs is sufficiient for you to know how they feel - I bow to your knowledge and expertise.

Shame you cannot tolerate other people's views when you disagree with them but luckily most of your fellow fans - probably the ones who actually live in Wales are rational sensible and tolerant people. Bye bye blue

We have conversed before - amicably I may say dragonphiljack. Please read what I have written and you will see that I have said nothing to justify blue's nasty comments. Hey ho - you don't win them all. I live near Swansea and have been to several of their games - and am enjoying their success

"I suppose that all boards have those who faced with a proper debate resort to abuse because they know no better."

It feels quite good when you make a point and someone comes along and proves it. Thanks. ;)

    And I'm thick........

'Also some fans need to be careful about so called "loopholes" - there are plenty of fans throughout England who see Welsh teams playing in an English league when they have one of their own as a "loophole" Maybe there will be a campaign to close that one.'

So 'fans' make the rules for the FA .....er ok we'll be careful then

'and I would hazard a guess that if you took a poll in England the Welsh teams would be thrown out as they have their own league.'

Who are you polling ? , please advise

And you are such a sweet thing ......these are all your efforts at being non confrontational - ill advised , unhelpful post of mine, Misguidedly, without wishing to offend again, whatever little dungheap you inhabit , ....I love this one... 'You really have earned the title of the most stupid Cardiff fan haven'-t you?'.....question mark ....Why? and a hyphen ...again why ? brilliant ! <doh>
