I've never really been a fan of his but I thought he was superb yesterday. He made a few tricky saves where the ball took a bounce just in front him and yet he held on and, as such, prevented any potential tap-ins. Then there was his on-on-one which he just made look so routine it was incredible.

What are we thinking now?

Some of his facial expressions were amusing, is it safe to assume he is a bit of a fruitloop or?

Have been told he was sweating buckets in the warm-up, but then my Polish mate says he has always been one for excessive drinking and smoking. He was frozen out of Poland selection for basically telling the manager what he thought of him and his lack of ability.

Although, he seems like he can be a reasonable guy!

He's mad as a box of frogs but not a rotten apple.

He's just a bit mad.

"Legia supporters still consider Boruc a hero and mobbed him before and after an away game against bottom of the league Wisla Plock - when he wasn't swinging from the railings and belting out club songs, that is.

The Parkhead star flies back home as often as he can and took advantage of a few days off to add his fanatical support to his beloved Legia who are struggling in fourth place in the league"

Oh, and he rescued some woman who was being attacked by a group of men. He ran over and beat the attackers off, and they were forced to flee.

He worries the hell out of me, but 2nd half he claimed everything as he should do. I'd play him again this weekend to give him some continuity. He deserves a shot too.

Show me an excellent keeper that ain't a nut-job and I'll show you an Irishman that ain't having a drink today<laugh>

I think he still has room for improvement. It seems many still don't fully recognize what is the calibre of the talent we're dealing with. For example, I guess few of you know that in 2008 he was shortlisted for FIFPro World XI Player Awards (the 45,000 professional footballers belonging to the 42 professional organisations across the world that form FIFPro received voting forms in a secret ballot to nominate their peers for inclusion in their “World XI” - choosing the four defenders, three midfielders, three forwards and goalkeeper they most admire. )

Goalkeepers: Artur Boruc (Poland/ Celtic), Gianluigi Buffon (Italy/ Juventus), Iker Casillas (Spain/ Real Madrid), Petr Cech (Czech Republic/ Chelsea), Edwin van der Sar (Holland/ Manchester United)

That basically means that not insignificant amount of his fellow footballers considered him to be THE best keeper in the world at that time. He's had some problems since, but now he is more mature, experienced, at the prime age for a goalkeeper and he seems to be growing. What are his limits, only God knows (and I've heard he's Argentine just like your manager so don't worry about that :D)

You can only pitty that lost time during the first half of the season as it is obvious it was the game time he needed to start shining again. Even out of form, to say he was worse than either KD or Gazza is nothing but preposterous.
