Was my only 'friend' on this board.
Please unban him so I have at least one person who reads my posts....
Nobody banned him, he "left," although I reckon he'd be back.
Also, we all love and appreciate your posts.
I think its fair to say I think there is a " Clique" developing on the board, some may disagree but that is my opinion, I have considered leaving too. It seems that people ( LFC fans ) seem to be leaving due to other members almost ganging up in groups on individual members. BBF,Sky,Lil Jatt, MFG all left or rarely post due to reactions of other LFC fans who they disagree with them, very sad, us LFC fans should stick together and should be ganging up on the Mancs and the Blues, not each other.IMO there are people on this board far too cosy with fans of the opposition.
Some people on this board spend more time talkin about stuff absolutely f**k all to do wi footy, than watchin the game.The other week I posted info on extra tickets for the Zenit game, everyone just made excuses for why they cant go, if you REALLY care about LFC I dont care what your circumstances are you should be able to go to a couple of games a season.Too many plastics armchair fans with no passion

Didn't Sky leave for personal reasons? Again, I'm not 100% sure on that so I may be wrong.
Also Lil Jatt never really posted that often anyway did he? And we all know about MFG, comes on here, moans then goes without backing up his argument
I think people forget that this is a football forum and we're hear to discuss football, not bicker amongst ourselves like teenage girls.
MFG was never a regular poster & I think Lil Jatt & Skylarker just got busy? BBF (& Bazray), you have a point, but there's a reason they were annoying Liverpool fans by the end.
I can understand why you think there are cliques on here because of the inside jokes & general back slapping but I think that happens on every forum.

I read your posts, you talk more sense than 95% of people on this board, but some members prefer to have a pop at our own fans then the Mancs and the Blues
Cliques or not, I post - even if it's just myself reading what I say. Feels nicer to write it down rather than keeping it inside.
If you really want conversation, just disagree with someone; friend or foe. Works a charm. I don't really enjoy reading threads which derail becuase of the "back slapping" or "inside jokes" though, I read a thread based on the title, amazingly enough, because I want to read opinions about said title.

Wishi left because people gave her a hard time, there was a guy called Nazby used to post, no longer posts due to " a group" of LFC fans ridiculing something he said.LFC fans should stick together, givin it the mancs and the blues
I feel partly responsible for the **** because of the MFG thread but that was meant as it was titled as an attempt to engage in "civilised" debate with MFG and others. BBF turned it in to something it wasn't intended to be...open bloody warfare, and he was loving every minute of it.
As for the word "cliques" get a ****ing grip lads. Are those who post on here not supposed to form any sort of associations? Welcome to Nazi606
As far as I'm aware the board usually runs very well and members come and go as they please. Some of you are talking as if there's been some members waterboarded and gang raped.
There is thread after thread of football talk and it isn't difficult to engage people in discussions about a game or a player etc. From now on however I'll avoid engaging anyone particular in discussions for fear of getting involved in a "clique".
For the record BBFs been acting like a complete prick for ages (IMO insulting people with serious illnesses is way over the line) but then he'll be back anyway so I wouldn't worry too much DD.
As far as "plastic" fans go 6ds who's to judge on that one? You? Me? The Mods? I don't consider myself a plastic but the lads who go home and away every week might right?
I've been on here as a regular poster for a good while now and I can think of a handful who've left (none with quite the diva styled exit of BBF I have to say). Wishi had gone not long after I joined so can't really comment other than that she only seemed to post one message after every defeat. Sky and Lil Jatt were excellent posters neither of whom left because of anything other than personal reasons (and could well have been accused of being in the mystery "clique" when they were members anyway...as in they were sound fellas who got on with people).
If you want to get rid of these mystery "cliques" then there's a simple answer. Ban any thread not football related. No music thread, no photoshop thjread, no Carraghers Arms thread and nothing off topic. That means no politics either Donga. If we were to be seen to be agreeing about politics we'd be "back slapping" and a bit "cliquey".
Oh and let's ban friendliness too. Ban good manners. Ban all opposition fans and their cliques. Ban the bomb. Ban the Yanks.

Im not a major member of this board. I'm not close to many people here and I don't post as often as I'd like. But I saw this thread and would like to speak my mind from an "outsiders" perspective.
I'm not from Liverpool. I'm not English, nor have I lived in England. I visited once and fell in love with the city and its football club. The people were friendly and always laughing. I was always helped if needed and I noticed a type of camaraderie in the city that I didn't in the rest of England. After reading about the history and customs and lore of Liverpool, I realised that this was the "Scouse, not English" sentiment coming out of people.
This board has got that. While we have many people from many countries and continents, like Nabzy (Ukraine I believe?) and Bluff in America, most people here are either from or born in Liverpool.
There are times where I do feel like I don't belong here. I don't get many of the references thrown about and since I don't know anyone, I can't join in with banter. When threads are derailed, I don't speak my mind because I know it will be ignored and jokes will continue. English is also not my first language, so often my posts come across as too serious as i write how I was taught.
But despite that, this is my favourite forum and the place where I consider home. Nowhere else have I seen match threads like Chris's or hundred page long banter threads. Any news the club is involved in is posted and I have a place to share my opinions. My opinions are always respected by fellow members and often my lengthy analysis are read and debated.
I'm sorry to hear that BBF has left. While I did see that he had a specific set of values that I didn't always believe in, I always considered him mainstay of the forum. All of you are to me. And while we have our issues like any community, this place is fantastic. Don't throw that all away because of petty bickering. Its not worth it. Where else can you discuss football like here? Nowhere. Yes I don't agree with MFG and I had a small spat with him a while back. But his opinions should be welcomed and not called out. BBF as well. We are a dysfunctional family. I enjoy windups and banter after the match has been discussed. But sometimes there does seem to be a major clique. It can be daunting for guests to sign up if we can't get along. Save your arguments for the pub. And stop fighting.
