Lucky you H. It's still bloody snowing here with no let up looking likely. Fortunately 11 of our horses are in stables (including 3 in foal) but we have 7 out in the fields that are over a foot deep in snow (poor buggers) so somehow we need to get hay to them. ******* weather. <steam>

Got to feel sorry for the poor animals that have to find their own food in this kind of weather.

definitely. When on earth are we going to get some warmth?!

I'm sure there'd be no shortage of people prepared to keep you warm.

On the bird front, I put fat balls and nuts in feeders out for them and dice cheese up for them all year. They love the cheese.

In this kind of weather I put special suet feast dishes out for them and they make quite a lot of them, helps to keep the cold out.
