Right, I've just got in from work to see what's been going on these last 12hrs or so.

I'm disappointed with some of comments some posters are making to fellow Jacks.

We are celebrating probably our best ever season in our Centenary year, were The Capitol One cup winner and heading off the Europe next season, and what to we do resort to foul and abusive language towards each other, that's NOT on. This board is for FUN, BANTER & DEBATE. Were being to look like a laughing stock to other clubs and if we carry on with pressing the self destruct button then we won't have may posters left and that will certainly be a sad day.

One of OUR own, Ash is as we are all aware laid up in hospital. Other's out there have problems with their personal life, myself included. Now what would Ash think is going on with all this bickering. I know what he would say, BLOODY STOP IT!!!!! he'd point you to the forum rules and stipulate that the house rules should not be broken.

I know we all get heated under the collar and at times we piss each other off, but were all Jacks. The forum will never be PEACE & LOVE as we all have different opinions, thats life, and it would be boring if we did.

Lately we've lost some good posters because of this one up man-ship, as I've all ready mentioned if this carries on then more are likely to leave.

Now as they say on Allo Allo "I will say this only once" If it carries on I will start deleting post, closing threads and if needed banning orders. NO I don't want to do this and as only being a mod for a couple of days it's not a power thing, but sanity needs to be return to OUR forum.

Now don't get me angry and you won't like it when I'm angry.

I doubt Ash will be jumping out of a hospital bed in a couple of days to come back on here full throttle. It may be weeks or months before he's up for it - if indeed he wants to keep going as a moderator. <ok>
 
Neveroff, a question for you.

What would you think of a mod telling a poster to bugger off to another forum and that poster being able to prove it to you by showing that message to you in person ?

If that allegation can be proved to your satisfaction would you see that something is done about it ?

Just to clarify lads, I am said Mod in response to a message from Dilli here. However, in case he suggests that I used abusive language, I did not <ok>

Is this how pathetic you have become Dilli, because you haven't had your own way again. Yet again within 48 hours of a couple of new mods being appointed on a temporary basis to help out Musty in light of Ash's tragic events, you throw your toys out of the pram <doh>

Dilli, As I have already said it is unacceptable, be it a member or mod, to use abusive language to a fellow poster. My Father always said to me it takes nothing to be courteous to people, it get's you further in life than being abusive.

At time is feels like a war zone on here.

As said can we stop this!!! for all our sanities, and leave it there, and move on.

I haven't asked for anything. You closing FFS thread is throwing the toys out of the pram and it was he who had a problem with the mods not me. If you actually had the maturity to read the thread properly you'd see me asking FFS to let things slide but yet again I have been falsely accused because someone can't remain impartial.

I had a problem with you closing that thread and did the right thing by sending you a PM. Your response showed to me said all I need to know about you, I won't waste my time again.


Just so you know I consider Neveroff to be a mate and I'm ecstatic that a top poster like him is a mod, if you don't believe me ask him yourself so you can see just how silly your conclusions are.

Bottom line is you told a poster to bugger off and I have the proof to back me up.


FAO Neveroff, I won't comment anymore unless I'm attacked on here. Perhaps you can confirm to any doubters how we get on and who got you tickets for the final. Hopefully that will put valleys ridiculous assumption about me to bed once and for all.

1. I closed the thread to contain the fall out HOPING everyone would move on. Yet again it all kicks off. Hell, I even had a good poster ask me arlier how to delete his account because he has had enough.

2. I haven't made any ridiculous assumptions about you <ok>

Forgive me the intrusion on what is an internal affair, but I'm saddened when I read some of the comments on here. I've always got the impression this was a fantastic board with friendly banter and an inclusive atmosphere, and as an outsider I've been thoroughly welcome from my first post.

I've been a Mod recently for our forum, it was a privilege to be considered a worthy and respected enough poster to be honest, especially since the old 606 MODs used to send me back every comment I ever wrote to my e-mail address along with the old "Your post has been moderated/deleted" stuff <laugh>
My rules are simple, I see more than most as banter and if a line is crossed, encourage other posters to rise above it, rather than let it result in a slanging match. I have fun on here, as the OP states. I only deleted stuff that was ridiculously obscene or not worth discussing.

But I don't think my personality matches the other mods on our board. AB and ACS have been Mods for a long time and I respect that they have a better grasp of the politics, because I couldn't really give a damn! They are stricter and more rules centric. Did it cause conflict? No, because we have community spirit and the whole point of that is to try and get the balance right, so that's what we strive to do. As a member of the forum, and not a mod now, I have the exact same responsibility, we all do. If the balance is not quite right, then we're all adults aren't we? Have the discussion privately and in a respectful manner.

I don't want to wade in between Israel and Gaza, but I'd like to return here and I'd like it to hold the same atmosphere I have come to love about it. I'm not above saying I'll go on some form of hunger strike (even though I'll actually stuff my face... so screw you guys... I'm upset <wah>) or enforcing somekind of parent-trap like operation!

It's the hardest thing in the world to forget the history, but you can't have a happy future until you let go <ok>

Never, more than willing to a truce with Valley, never had a problem with him in the 1st place, just didn't agree with FFS thread being closed that's all. He's jumped to all the wrong conclusions, if I had a serious problem with him you know me if have told him to fck off :D

Bloody hell, I'm trying to bring peace and harmony to our site. Moderate the site, even the UN would have problems sorting us lot out.

It stops now!!! I don't want to start closing this thread over insults.

P.S Gandalf, nobody is sexier than our Michu and you can't have him.
