I didn't mate, not me. Obsessive and a bit stalkerish maybe but never boring.

Worth a shot...I've not seen him give the ball away as much as Evans does in any game that's for sure...he's got great feet and can take a pretty good free kick (what we've been missing). He's not great in the tackle but like I said if he keeps the ball then he doesn't have to tackle.

Koren is a brilliant professional and even though he can often drift in and out of form, he is a player that can win a game with a single pass or goal. He's been playing out of position pretty much all Season, when was the last time he played in midfield?

IMO, there's certain games where he should be benched for more physical force and there's some games he'd be perfect to just drift around behind two forwards.

Koren, really, should be starting in an advanced midfield role with Meyler dropping into Evans' position. Boyd upfront with Gedo.

Therefore we have the creativity mixed with brute force; the happy medium. <ok>

He's better in the tackle than a lot give him credit for too. I really think he's worth a try, he's started 2 games since his injury, got a last minute assist with a beaut of a cross in the first and scored the winner in the other.

I've changed my mind, Evans and Koren out, Cairney and Boyd in for the weekend.

Meyler is half decent at winning the ball, but he needs to stay on his feet, he falls over more easily than a pissed up bird in high heels.

I once cockled over on High Street( outside of Sailmakers) in platform shoes whilst pissed as a newt. I was dressed as Elvis at the time but still kept on my dancers better than Meyler does.

I also came down with salmonella the same night.

Not a great evening I can tell you, those cobbles are a ****er.

Koren has been crap for months but everyone hopes he'll pop up with that late goal like he could last season. I'd rather see Meyler in his position as he's proved his finishing is good enough and he'd bury the chances Koren has been getting.

Was Fiona Bruce there and if so did you speak to her and get her mobile number?

    I like Fiona.

    Steve's daughter?

I'm not a fan personally, I find her a little smug and patronising.

And her tits aren't big enough.

She wasn't there, but if I do happen to meet her, rest assured I'll get you her number.

It's about time you lot caught up.. he's lost total interest. no pace, no leadership, no defending...

the fact that he's playing out of position means nothing... his leadership and effort shouldn't be affected

Are there any stattos out there that can tell me, per minutes on the pitch playing as a forward, who has scored the most goals, Koren, Simpson? I feel that the stats will be quite similar, it certainly feels that way.

So, when Boyd, who, by all reports, was head & shoulders MOM against Millwall and got 3 assists and a goal, joins, why not play him from the start in that role, drop Koren deeper into midfield which is where it appears he's more effective, and leave Evans out completely?

The only reason that I can think that SB didn't do the above was due to the performance against Blackburn, when every player played out of their skin and were practically undroppable!

Still don't understand why Gedo was replaced today though, we were surely ****ed at that point and it would have been the perfect opportunity to try Boyd and Gedo up front together, or did SB actually think that Simmo might score a couple of goals to get us back in the game? Surely not!

The game was complete beyond us and I think Gedo could do with the rest!

The first post with any sense on this thread.

I could have sworn someone said to play Meyler as a DM earlier?

OLM - were you sat in Row J today - wondered if it was you in front of me?
