By SB's calculations 6 more wins and job done.

Only game that counts right now is Bolton, realistically we can win thisleague and we can still miss out on the play-offs all together, we've just gotta keep playing our football and we will be ok!

The best thing we can do at this moment in time is to forget about promotion, concentrate on each game as they come along and hopefully it will be enough at the end

and this is where an experienced manager like SB earns his money. one game at a time. us fans are clearly allowed to get massively ahead of ourselves but he needs to keep the squad grounded. one game one game catchy cardiff.

Im not just saying this, but if I could choose any manager from the top 6 to have at this stage of the season it would be Bruce. Obviously Id rather have Cardiff's points but in terms of experience in this situation surely Bruce is a cut above.

Edit - have any of the other managers been promoted direct from this division? Holloway via the play-offs obviously but cant think of anyone else until you get to Mowbray.

Thank god for the common sense posters who take every game as it comes. There are no big milestone games; too often you get brought to your knees by the game from hell that was a given! Of course, when this happens, your milestone rivals stroll up and administer the coup de grâce. We will face our demons in the run-in, we will struggle and win ugly, but I am sure we will win. Our rivals will seek to do the same, some will have blitz goalfest days and then they will wobble. We are a merciful club, despite what West Yorkshire Police think, but we can and will adminster a few coup de grâce on our way to the PL. they will all look to undo us and just may try too hard and then . .

If we win on Saturday (and it's still a big 'if' because Bolton are no slouches) we will be two points behind Cardiff who play on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how they react to that considering they virtually haven't had to consider being caught due to such a superior points tally.
It would be brilliant if Cardiff stumble under the pressure and fall back into the promotion chasing pack (or worse), because I can't see the threat of Watford, Palace and probably Leicester relenting right up to the wire. We need both automatics to be available and if they are I think we've got a great chance of taking one of them.

He said 7 wins after the Charlton game. Not so sure on that but everything he's done so far has been spot on.

Anyway, whatever your opinion it's looking good. Take your pick........

A Bolton
H Birmingham
A Crystal Palace
A Burnley
H Nottingham Forest
A Huddersfield
H Watford
H Middlesbrough
A Ipswich
A Wolves
H Bristol City
A Barnsley
H Cardiff

Easy peasy? No, but what an outstanding position to be in.

I can see us winning at least 8 of those. But which ones is anyones guess.

  the way you predict Erik i am shocked to see us where we are. I expected City to be firmly at the bottom in 24th place. <whistle>

=============

In an ideal world it would be nice to win the next 6 games and then be able to relax and enjoy Aprils.
