The penalty given to the Skunks was yet another absolute shocking decisision given in their favour...It makes you wonder whether some of the match officials maybe embroiled in this match fixing scandal..
From a Skunk on the Sunderland board![]()

Didn't see it but if if was soft then justice served for at least one goal that should of been last week.
Looked a touch soft given the minimal contact but the keeper didnt complain (well only at the defender) and like u said 2 offsides went against uz last week so swings and roundabouts.
Im forced to watch most of ur games (as my lass and most of my mates r mags) and I thought it was a pretty even tie but uz probz did deserve to go through, Krul made some top saves tho.
And? Are skunks banned from this board now then?
By the way, I hope you enjoyed the win![]()

Many Skunks were very quick to criticise the ref in the first tie, due to the fact that they got the first bad decisions given against them in living memory, so I was wondering if the same ones would admit that the penalty they got was a shocking decision...Just as I expected, this hasn't been the case..
Only saw the incident once from a rubbish angle but it looked a stonewall pen to me, I think any safc fan pretending they don't care the mags are in europe is kidding themselves. I'd love our club to be getting the chance to play the likes of Inter, Athletico, Hannovers etc.
I would immediately class this as a troll thread if most of you weren't so ****ing ******ed.
It was a penalty, but regardless of how soft it may or may not have been, we should have been 2-0 up in the first leg, meaning they could not sit back and break and would have had to come out of their comfort zone, therefore they'd be more open to attack.
We should have had this tie won last week, but poor refereeing meant we walked away with a draw.

Tash, you're a juvenile sex-starved failjob, go get a life - or at least a life that doesn't involve you posting on our board.
