Anytime from the 24th Feb. So i would say next week. Birmingham at home would be the ideal game for Boyd to make his debut.

By a quirk of the fixtures, Boyd could play his last game for the Posh this saturday @ home to Birmingham and then make his debut the following saturday for us also @ home to Birmingham. Lol.

Steve Bruce could rest a few in the Birmingham game for the bigger game @ Crystal Palace on the tuesday night. imo.

IF we do have Boyd for the Birmingham game, I'd expect him to come on around an hour in for Koren who I presume will start with Gedo.

If that was true it'd be very easy to find out wouldn't it? Aren't there media people at the training ground and even fans most days?

SB didn't sound like he knew of any deal the other night.

Good stuff. I love the simplicity with which he creates and scores. For the first two assists he's got defenders hanging onto him all over the place and he doesn't even seem affected by it. The goal was pace, good running and a proper calm finish although the 'keeper made it easy. I really hope we do get him!

He's not training with us, because my friend Scott just interviewed him at P'boro training ground.

But he didn't hit it into the corner, it was right next to the keeper and into the goal, a very lucky finish a-la Fryatt. I'd not bother with Boyd and just recall McLean instead, he aims for the corners and has scored the best Hull City goal since Geo at the emirates when we played Forest away last season.

Quote; Hutch_Tiger #59; "Bit more Gossip for those who want it. Just been told Boyd signed Saturday, guy who i get info off finding out more tonight."

...mmmm. So has he ripped up the contract he signed on Saturday in favour of training with us today and possibly signing again later, or is Fergie Jr. bullshitting about keeping him because he's already a Tiger? Either way something doesn't smell right.

Posh have stated already that they have to move Boyd on and get his wages off the books. Haggle Haggle over the loan fee i guess ?

Expect Boyd in next week. imo

O/T.....4 loans that have come to pass this week

Released by Sunderland...James McFadden has gone on loan to the SPL - Motherwell

Liverpool player Jack Robinson has gone on loan to Wolverhampton.

Brentford have taken Charltons Bradley Wright-Phillips and Lesta defender Liam Moore on loans.

He mentioned our interest but gave it the whole "I'm a P'boro player and and I'm focused on that." I'd think that if a deal was to be done, it wouldn't be until next week.

I expect it's a matter of Fergie Jr trying to distance himself from what will be a very unpopular deal with Pboro fans.
Just imagine how happy you would be if you supported a team at the bottom of the table that won 5-1 away only to have the player who made 3 assists and scored 1 loaned a week or so later.
It's obvious to all of us that a deal has probably been agreed with either us or Palace, but his current club need to come out of it with enough credit to appease their own supporters.
