This is kinda of sad though, a few years ago we might have given teams like Bayern a good game. Its not even close now a days.

I don't see why people are so shocked, Bayern are arguably one of the Champions League contenders. The English leagues are weaker and less well financially managed. Look at Van Buyten, quality player and loyal servant but cost far less than some of Arsenal's signings.
To be fair the referee has not helped, so many bookings already!

It is what it is. A team miles clear on top of the Bunderliga against a team scrabbling around for a CL place in the PL and miles of a title challenge.
A cynic could blame Wenger for being unrealistic and say he should of played his strongest team on Saturday in a trophy he might be able to win but hindsight is a rare gift i'm afraid.
