Arteta, Vermaelen and Sagna all deserved to be booked imo

Chelsea did actually win it last year so English football can't be in that bad a state!

Nothing to do with bloody hindsight! Every man and his dog knew that this Arsenal side had an "ice cube in a frying pan's" chance of winning the Champions League. Wenger is deluded not to realise that a domestic cup is our only realistic chance of any glory.

By spending hundreds of millions of pounds and still needing to Stoke their way to lucky wins.

Bayern Munich are class, Arsenal should only be disappointed that they have got their lead so easily.

At least we're only two down. If we do our typical trick of upping the performance in the second half, we might be able to get something to keep the tie alive.

Wenger needs to be pro-active for once and change things around, though. We'll get nothing if we just continue reinforcing failure.

You sound ridiculous keeping on about Shez. Neither goal was his fault.

Can't see us being competitive at this level any time soon, maybe fifth would be better after all and concentrate on domestic silverware.

On Finnish TV they are calling Bayern the 'best club team in the world' at this moment.

Typhoid Beast - that is optimism of the highest order. Are you sure you're not Piskie with a new user name?!
Although if by some miracle you do turn this round you have every right to say I told you so!

Hardly surprising, i dont think a single one of our players would get in that Bayern team.

    Or any top European team..

Arteta has more heart than the rest of the team combined, but he now has a yellow and won't be able to be as aggressive. Really dissapointed with Jack. He's hiding behind his man, avoiding to get the ball.

And **** everyone that protects Szszcesny again. He's worse than I've called him. And it's not just the second goal.

Vermaelen is a pathetic captain. Just give it to Arteta, seriously. He is no leader and is our most shambolic defender over the last 2 years. He's only had 6 good months when he had some fire in him. Now he's become captain he's tamer than ****ing Coquelin.
