It's more than 50/50, Bruce already confirmed we have made an approach. I thought we'd definitely go for him, I'll just be surprised if it's before the 24th.
Has he? Bugger. You know i dont mind, sort of, getting older but i dont like the fact all the constants in my life are slowly ebbing away.
Hutch certainly has a source who knows his onions, he said we were gonna offer 650k for fraizer before the transfer window opened (I think) funny that he went to Cardiff for 650k, also posted other things before that had substance.
Hope your source is right again Hutch. Boyd would be a great addition. Koren is slowing down and has probably peaked and Georgie Boy is 5 years younger and has all of RoKos attributes, but has more pace and ability to open up defences for the strikers. Hes also a pretty good 10 goal a year player like Koren.
Just thought that if we had Boyd and he'd come off the bench instead of Koren then maybe he would have showed more enthusiasm and interest than Koren?
Offers a steady source of goals and assists, very direct just think he could offer more consistency than koren whos no spring chicken, just repeating what ive been told could be wrong but my mates usually right
Maybe they've actually figured out a way to manipulate the two part loan thing thereby getting him in before the 24th?
To me, Koren looked really disinterested yesterday. Sitting next to the bench, Koren took 5 minutes to lace up his boots, tape up his shin pads and get changed. After Bruce told him to "get his 'effin clobber off" Koren gave a look. I presume he wasn't happy to start on the bench.
It dosn't make sense to me by bringing him in before the 24th which is only next weekend unless someone else is sniffing.
Thought Koren really put a shift in when he came on, hope he starts on Tuesday, he's the only one capable of unlocking a defence. First time we got behind charltons defence on Saturday was when koren played some through balls to gedo, he really is a class above anyone else we have in midfield even if he does go missing for chunks of games, it only takes 10 seconds of brilliance to make a difference and set up or score a match winner.
We are going to need someone who can unlock there defence, iv'e just seen that they have kept 6 clean sheets on the trot, we are going to have to be at our best
He was more effective than Simpson when he came on...held the ball up and distributed well. Simpson did ok first half but 3 balls bounced off him in quick succession in the second and he was off. Koren and Gedo up top against Rovers for me.
