No it's not. He did take one for the team and did break up play, am I wrong?

I am of a similar opinion to you, as I have clearly stated twice now but the reaction from pundits and some on here is OTT.

You would'nt be saying that if that was a United player.

You're embarrassing yourself trying to defend him. You were 4-0 up, there was no need to do that. Contact sport? That's neither here nor there, rugby's a more contact based sport yet if someone hit someone else late like that they'd be criticised too. I'm not saying he intended to hurt the player like he did but the fact that he felt it necessary to take a player out when the game was already well won shows a total lack of class.

I don't think they should stop trying just because they're 4-0 up, I wouldn't be happy if my team did, and professional fouls are part of the game... Yet Luiz's tackle was over and above a professional foul and I agree that it's embarrassing trying to defend it.

Luiz is a dirty player, but one of the many in the premier league. Fellaini, Cattermole, Tiote on a bad day, Cabaye, Scholes, Vidic are all guilty of many unnecessary tackles and fouls that rarely get punished. They're just pretty clever with it I guess. As I said of our last game with yourselves, Walker's tactics were pretty dirty, if intelligently applied.
As such I think it'd be harsh to focus as much on this without perspective, but the tackle still deserves to be vilified in my book.

**** off dickhole, i'm not hated on my own board, i was only asking a question you twat.

You are hated on your own board and have been restricted from making endless ****wit threads about nothing. In short son you're an intellectual spastic, now **** off ****stain!

Yid arent you going to mention the goal Brentford were disallowed when the Ref should have played Advantage

I mentioned it on our board. Refs fail to surprise me these days.

If he was taking the booking to benefit the team then no he didn't. I think he's 2 bookings away from a 1/2 game ban now and I'd say that's worse than stopping an attack when the game's already won.

I never said they should stop trying. Circumstances in the game can change everything in decision making. Had it been a close game it would have been acceptable. If your side had a penalty and instead of your usual taker the players decided a debutant should take it would you be pleased? It would all depend on what the score was, surely?

Not really sure what to say about the second paragraph to be honest, do you really think your players were going down because they have no choice? If not that's pretty dirty too, right?

I am prepared to give him another chance but matth be aware that you were banned before and any more petulant comments you will be rebanned.

as for this thread I think it's had it's day.

We want players banned for kicking footballs at players heads
We want players banned from kicking balls from beneath a prone ballboy
We want players banned for shoulder barges.

WAKE UP YOU F*CKING MORONS, THERE ARE BIGGER THINGS IN LIFE GOING ON <doh>
