Being honest, it's a tackle completely off the ball, with obviously aggressive intent. A shoulder barge off the ball is more like an assault than a tackle, as is a kick or a punch. Luiz didn't even look at the ball as it passed him so the only question is whether he meant to do as much damage as he did, or whether it was just an unnecessarily aggressive professional foul.

stopped reading as soon as I saw 'assault'

It was clumsy, but not intentional! Luis can be magical at times , but can have you biting your fingernails as well. Jeykll and Hyde methinks!

Not surprised you biased ****, I expect nothing less of you

You're the biggest die hard fan on the entire forum, with the biggest blind-spot known to man when it comes to your team <ok>

you can swear you know, no need to make little stars.

You ****ing ignorant ****flap - see, not hard is it?

so?

it was harsh and unnecessary like I've said, that as far as it should go. People should really get a grip.

You're embarrassing yourself trying to defend him. You were 4-0 up, there was no need to do that. Contact sport? That's neither here nor there, rugby's a more contact based sport yet if someone hit someone else late like that they'd be criticised too. I'm not saying he intended to hurt the player like he did but the fact that he felt it necessary to take a player out when the game was already well won shows a total lack of class.

at what point did I defend him? I have merely criticised the reaction some people have given.

You were 4-0 up! It wouldn't have mattered if they'd scored.

There should really be little argument that he was being a ****. I hope someone clatters him when he's looking the otherway, we'll see how he and the rest of your players react to that.

Yid arent you going to mention the goal Brentford were disallowed when the Ref should have played Advantage

That's defending him.

No it's not. He did take one for the team and did break up play, am I wrong?

I am of a similar opinion to you, as I have clearly stated twice now but the reaction from pundits and some on here is OTT.
