Yes, we tend to get to know each other quite well and therefore don't have too much trouble from regulars.
I think they treat Saturday as the Sabbath, and therefore Friday nights were considered as family time and preperation for it. Not too sure though. I'm sure H will correct me if I'm wrong. Please God let me be wrong <hopes desperately>
When I was at school we used to go for football training on Fiday afternoons and a massive line of Jewish guys used to be walking up from the area we were headed to with prayer books in their hands, it seems Friday was the big day for them. Quite a large Jewish settlement in the area, they aren't nearly as orthodox as they used to be. A young Jewish girl spoke quite openly to me today, something that would never have happened in those days. Of course there was one year I was flying to the States at Christmas time and it seems all the young American Jewish girls studying over here were heading home for the holidays and what a bunch of lively fun loving girls they seemed to be.
