First half was very, very quiet, there weren't any chants until about 20 minutes in. It's normally a bit quieter on a night match at home but that was the quietest for a while.

I remember when night matches had the best atmosphere

Sorry Dutch but as grateful as I am to the Alllams for saving us they are unfortunately the wrong people to have in control of our club.
They are pure an simply business men and have no idea of the emotion and passion involved in Football.
They see all staff and players as face less employees and are stripping the club of some of its greatest servants internally.
Sorry for the rant but they are certainly no Knights in shining armour.

It's a fine line between so-called 'greatest servants' and hangers-on.

The club is losing millions every season during a sustained period of economic uncertainty.

Sorry, but keeping employees based on emotion needs to be addressed.

Agree with that, but the club needs people who know Hull people and have the clubs interest at Heart.
As an example Nick Barmby is not allowed in the KC for City or FC??
I'm talking about Hull people who have been at the club over decades not premier league hangers on.

I don't think it's a crock of **** at all, we can be grateful, without accepting everything thrown our way.

Our club was saved, but our saviours don't really understand football, I'm happy to accept the way things are, as it's far better than the way things used to be.

Thank f k we have the Allams

Without them AFC Hull would be playing someone like Brid town tomorrow and not be sat in an automatic promotion spot.

In my opinion the Allams are the best owners we have ever had..

Cheshireben I'm sure you have read bigger crocks of crap on here than my opinion.
There is constant bullshit posted on here but because you don't agree with me doesn't mean it's crap.
Let's see how things pan out long term maybe your right but I don't trust them.

Would you be saying that if you fail to win promotion in the next 2/3 seasons?

At a guess, that would depend why we failed to win it. To be fair, from where we were when they took over to the position we're in now is possibly ahead of schedule, especially as they had no football or high profile media experience and some internal and external politics to deal with, so in my view they've earned some slack.

What's that ? We might not go up this season ???

**** that if we don't go up then the Egyptian swine can f--k off

Allams out if we don't go up

I won't go to another game

Fair point, and I can appreciate that. But from a footballing point of view everything has gone right for them so far, and they have invested quite heavily.

But like most foreign investors, they see the Premier League pound signs and if it doesn't happen and they stop putting money in, opinions will change.

Good and fair points Dutch,
I certainly want things to work out for us and them but the things I'm seeing and hearing are worrying me.

They're not foreign.

I can appreciate that, they've certainly got their own way of doing things. Part of that seems to be having several irons in the fire and also keeping their dealings close to their chest. Combine that with a naivety toward the glare and interest associated with sporting Clubs, especially where there's a political connection and it'd be almost miraculous if they were universally lauded.

If we don't go up it won't be through lack of trying on the Allams part .

And as usual I will dream of walking the league next season ...

I really don't think the Allams are doing this just in the hope of making money .

I believe they would be more then happy IF they took us up and turned us into a premier league club that could manage to stay up and make a little profit to put back into there bank.

Might sound crazy BUT that's my opinion ..

And to me I enjoy going to watch City even if we lose so going up would just be a bonus ..

**** sake. I don't know ****. Change foreign to inexperienced.......

They're in so deep, they'd struggle to get out now. Depends who you listen to. Like most self made men, there's some failures in their background that some hold against them, but there's also plenty of very generous, no strings donations to other groups in the area, so pure profit isn't totally their motive, but they do like each element to stand up on its own merits.

Point being, they're unlikely to be in it for the short haul / quick buck.

Though if Assem Allam was to pass on ( kick the bucket ). I have no idea what Ehab might or might not do..
