I find it telling that the comments section of that HDM article is void of any FC fans calling the Allams, in stark contrast to anything in the last few days where the Allams were every form of evil under the sun. Not only will Mr. Pearson be trying to get the lid back on the worm tin, I bet the FC fans are ****ting a brick now too, sounds like the Allams have been very generous to FC and that could just about be coming to an abrupt end :)

I'd say this has all worked out rather well in the Allams favour <ok>

I've been posting the FC forum this morning, there does seem to be a realisation(at least from some), that they've been attacking the wrong people.

Nothing I've posted has been deleted either, though obviously I've been my usual polite and reasonable self.

    Calling them thick ****s? <laugh>

I'm having a read now, looks like they're crashing to earth with a bump, that mod Kosh still looks like his head is in the clouds. Not got far but already he's refusing to admit that FC's finances were in a state, rather the club suffered from 'under investment', despite other FC fans proving him wrong via AP's media appearances. That Kosh is a proper deluded **** of the highest order, a million times worse than any TWS fan I've seen on any site and that is saying alot.

Seems the ones who want to fight to the death are clutching at straws now and the only argument they have left is the Allams would and should have known who Johnny Whiteley is. Must say it's been rather amusing watching them direct their bullshit at 'the enemy' only to find out, in effect, the enemy is the very people they support <laugh>

    I didn't know 18 wheelers could pull off a U-turn so quickly <ok>

I can't say I've looked on there to any depths before, but it really is a terrible site.

The ones doing most of the shouting earlier in the week (Frankdee / Jackdee or similar) seem to be off-line at the moment, leaving 'cosh' to do his Comical Aliesque replies.

Talk about going off half cocked.

I haven't felt the need to call anyone a **** yet, though one of them has just accused me of being Allam's 'patsy'. <laugh>

I wonder if AP's and FC's silence was a plan to stir outrage with the fans and give them the upper hand, whether they knew this was coming and they remained silent to try and deflect blame from themselves, or if they just completely misjudged the situation and now find themselves in a lose-lose situation.

I'm looking forward to FC coming out and making a statement about the whole affair, from the pictures thing all the way to their contribution to FC's losses, and see what that silly **** Kosh has to say about it all. He'll probably blame the Allams for bribing FC fans to pack in the rugby and go to the football instead or something equally as thick <laugh>

so after the purchase of Leeds United, Hull FC could easily move into Elland Road? Or indeed they could move back to their roots in Gateshead?

I think that message board thinks all opinions match the club colours (they're black and white), so all posters must agree. Conversely, if they link one post from one poster that could be a City fan, that then is what we are all saying.

Any FC fans reading this, that's not moderation, it's dictatorship and does you no favours at all.

Honestly, open debate is not something to be feared, it's healthy.

What I cannot get my head round is that they continue to pour their bile out on the Allams despite learning this morning that the Allams are bailing them out to the tune of £310,000 a year. How does that work out?

I was keen to stay at the KC before this episode, but now I just want to get to our own stadium outside of Hull where we ca jettison any association with these ungrateful losers.

This pains me to say this but no one is deluded to think rugby league is a minority sport in this city - it certainly is not. Pop into my local on a Friday night when Super League is showing and you will see it is extremely popular - certainly more so than a game in the NPC for example.

Moving back to the matter of the SMC - this organisation was set up as many have said on this board to maintain the fabric of the stadium.

The template for the SMC was made well before we built our shiney new stadium in 2002 and yes the Council were over the moon that having spent £43.5m of capital money from the part sell off of KC they would not then be burdened with an estimated £1m revenue bill for the upkeep of the 'building'

AP was 'happy' to take on the control of the newly set up SMC - weren't pop concerts seen as a way of raising finance to cover the maintenance costs not to mention the profits made from pie and beer sales on matchdays?

Clearly the Allams have been cute on these issues on taking over the ownership of the SMC and the Labour Council have seemingly shot themselves well and truly in the foot with the help of that baffoon Geraghty.

Hopefully it will enable the Allams to get control of the Stadium and develop the land in and around it for whatever purpose and dismiss this ridiculous notion that they will move the Club to a field in Melton ffs.

For those advocating this I suggest you seek the views of Bolton supporters at City's next away game on building the Reebok outside the town of Bolton and halfway down the M61 in Horwich. It may also be worth noting the author of a number of issues of the Football Ground Guide, Simon Inglis, has advocated for some time that the future of new stadia lies within built up areas and not remote out of town sites where access is much more dependent on the private car. Liverpool and Everton have never advocated moving far from Anfield or Goodison (Kirby for example) and their wishes have always been to build in or near Stanley Park.
