At half time on Monday night, Robbie Fowler proved himself to be a legend in every sense of the word

...and, yes, I have watched that clip a couple of dozen times already.

That thread on the Liverpool board is laughable. One comment about the fact that Liverpool are sh*t but then so are a lot of the players in the top 4 and then another saying it would take too long to name all the dross players in the top four teams. Surely if anything this highlights how cr*p Liverpool have become if they are belittling other squads far above them in the league?
Being totally unbiased doing a joint Liverpool Spurs team you would say Gerrard, Suarez and Johnson would be in given current form. Going on that then Lloris would be ahead of Reina. So really it would be 8-3 in favour of a Spurs side and we are 4th of the top 4 teams which says it all.
Maybe it would be better if they did a comparison with Swansea, West Brom and Norwich. It would be a far more rewarding and satisfactory outcome for them as they may at least get half a team worth of their players then.

Booting John Bishop in the face makes him the opposite of one!

Spurs are where they are in the Prem table on merit and good luck to them, but we've scored as many goals as Spurs and conceded a mere 2 goals more and lost only 2 games more than Spurs, either we're not as crap as you make out or Spurs aren't as good as you think.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Don't spout stats, it'll confuse them. Try the one about finishing fourth, (or third, or second) and what you get for 'winning' fourth place. It's hilarious. You win a 5-0 aggregate drubbing from Real Madrid, after 'famously' beating a couple of teams from Milan.

Exactly 12 points behind little old Spurs and looking likely to finish below us for the 4th year running.

Liverpool are exactly 12 points away from both 4th place (us) and 4th from bottom (Villa).
Their real problems are that they can't seem to beat anyone in the top half of the table and they're not much kop away.
We've basically won 4 away games that they've drawn.

15 of Liverpool`s goals (almost a third) have come against relegation battlers QPR and Norwich, and bottom half teams Sunderland and Fulham, with 3 of these games being at Klanfield.

Which section of BRENTan Rodgers 180 page dossier has the headng "how to react when the methods aren't working".........use the words Project, long term, time, progression and speak of other clubs spending power which should bide you some time.

....is that Liverpool failing to perform in another important game?

One of the mouser's trying to explain why they should keep Brentan Rogers.......Dirty Frank I think....

You see I don't mind opinions but when they're stated as fact and backed up with further dubious opinion it starts to grate.

    1) what makes you say we have a better team than spurs? We have finished behind them 2 years running, and look to for a 3rd, various combo's of managers so how in gods name is this proof its BR's fault? Where is your proof we currently have a better team this year? I usually go by the league standings myself but do explain how I'm going wrong? So your basing the fact that BR hasn't overhauled the 4 place difference from last year in 4 months as proof eh?

Again with the all the "should be solved in a year or sacked" You're predicting failure to back up your obvious dislike already for the manager & to have a whinge now. How about waiting to even your own deadline above before complaining eh?

    2) top managers always find a way & fast eh? Which ones? This is ridiculously over simplified. It does not take into account relevant positions, player situations of the club they're coming to, funds available, who they are having to match or overhaul in the league.

I mean AVB must be a failure right? 4 months in the job & spurs haven't got any higher in the league than last year. He mustn't have any ambition, spurs should get rid! eh? I mean a whole season & no improvement right?

Are we a guinea pig? From top to bottom yes. Why? We were 20 years out of date & are learning from top to bottom how to be a modern club. You don't like that & want instant success I'd go with the suggestion to follow another club. Not because I don't think you are a true supporter but because you're going to be continually disappointed with this one for a good few years with your expectations based far away from the reality of our clubs situation.

I find it ironic that those who have hope we're on the up are also the ones who see the average level we are at right now. Yet we're accused of accepting mediocrity & believing fairy stories at the same time.

Yet those that see nothing good at the moment somehow believe we should be somehow transforming from midtable to challengers in a few months

    Very very strange.

I thought Brentan was targetting 2nd Place wasnt he????? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

  19. @Dario_Geordie...

That Mouser you have quote sounds quite sensible. He'd better watch it, because he'll be getting himself a ban from his own board, if he keeps up with that kind of unblinkered argument.

Sympathetic referees continue to fall for the theatrics of Sewerez as another penalty is awarded for another dive.
