I think it will be a good thing and even if some people might say they dont deserve the break i believe that it will be good for bonding and genuinely believe the team have done well up to now.

Getting away from everything can only be a good thing. There's been plenty banging on about "they don't deserve it" but that's a pretty simplistic way of putting it. They aren't children, they hasn't brought home a duff report card. They need time away to discuss what to do.
Contrary to popular belief, the fulham game wasn't the worst game of the season. That was Newcastle by quite some way (both teams to blame)
You can tell me we aren't far away. The goals are coming.
Completely agree with this. I don't thik we are far away at all and I also think that a lot of our problems are linked to fatigue as CH tends not to make too many changes week on week and a short break in the sun will do the team some good. It will also give the new lads some time to bond with the group so I don't see a downside.

Must say I'm sceptical of the value of these breaks. Last year, if I remember aright, they went off to Spain and for several games afterwards looked as if they didn't know one another (so much for bonding). There were also rumours of a bust up (Holt appeared on the bench next game with a black eye) and things didn't really improve until the final run in. That's how I remember it anyway. I don't begrudge them the trip at all; my doubts are about whether it translates into immediate improvement on the pitch.![]()
Don't think they are there for a break, they're still training.Completely agree with this. If it's true about a trip abroad being followed by a loss, seeing as Reading,QPR, Wet Sham and Swansea are out there as well, we won't lose much ground!

Hmm, I really hope it does some good. However, it's bloody freezing here and it will be bloody freezing when they get back. What will probably happen is that because of the drastic changes in temperature, they will all get stinking colds and we'll have to put a reserve side out against Everton !![]()
