The Lincoln manager claimed that losing Facey to injury was the main reason they got relegated.
As he only scored 2 goals in 21 appearances, I'm not quite sure how he came to that conclusion.
Yeah I noticed an Imps fan saying that somewhere, and wondered how he'd decided on that.![]()
McCarthy stood out on that list, but I agree, his wages are probably beyond us.
bit like "we would have stayed up if we hadn't sacked Brown".. the fuse is lit... sizzle sizzle...
He only stands out because of his size - am so glad you're not the boss

Today is the official launch day for the PFA released player list:
http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list?name=FullName&page=1
It will have names added as they're announced and in the main it doesn't yet include the players being released by Premier League clubs.
At the moment it's not too exciting, but I just checked to see if it listed our released youth players(as there's been no official announcement yet) and I can only see Joe Fox on there.
Of our old boys, Richard Hinds, Jason Price and Kevin Ellison are on there and I'd expect Ryan France and Stuart Green to join them shortly.
Aliadiere - Tall, fast, experienced, worth a trial?
Fallon - Big man up front?
Coid - Cover for both full back positions?
Kilkenny - Not a bad player, could rotate in midfield
Norris - Same as above
Murphy - Back up keeper?
Aliadière has a career total of 15 games in 135 games, he barely qualifies as a striker.

I think you're losing it in your old age OLM![]()
