Arsenal might end up holding on, but the impact of jenkinson being banned for a game or so, and Wilshere possibly being out, might cause some problems for them in terms of rotation and fatigue. - especially as they have the CL to deal with. Chelsea 3-1. Not surprising really. I expect Chelsea to finish 3rd and with their spending power, they should. I was just hoping that Sunderland would get a draw today so we could pull away from arsenal. Not looking likely with a couple of mins to go. Sounds like Sunderland have missed some good opportunities today.
There's nothing in it, but as we approach the end of the season, I think your quality in depth will begin to show. And your goal difference is ridiculous compared to ours.
He was out by a mere 36 goals. Hulk Hogan, the only person to make Mark Lawrenson look comparatively knowledgeable about football.
Listening to snippets on the radio it seems the 4-1 to Chelski was very flattering - and yet another controversial decision when at 2-1 Wigan didn't get a penalty when they were going for the draw. Will wait to see that one on MOTD but it may be another one of those "some are given, some are not" moments which I absolutely hate because the rules shouldn't allow for that sort of interpretation. Come to think of it, what with that not given, a similar (sounding) incident at our game and one at Swansea I wonder if MOTD will do a mini-feature on these handball decisions?
Someone had a pop, when I mentioned the possibility of Citeh being 'in range' last weekend - we were a point closer to them than they were to United. Well, as it stands, they will only be 4 & 5 points ahead of the pack and by no means looking invincible. Game on......
Totally agree TMT. they haven't been anywhere near the same team this season. They seem much more beatable.
If we can continue playing like we did today with a striker on form we can take anybody at WHL. Yes Roo,City do look beatable. Come on Saints. Liverpool worry me a bit though at their place.
