Norwich have signed forward Kei Kamara from MLS team Sporting Kansas City. Just wondering if that might mean they are willing to let Simeon Jackson out on loan?
On Twitter, people were saying the Simeon Jackson rumours were fake, made by a new "Hull City Live" Twitter page or something in order to gain more followers. Simeon Jackson is actually a decent striker. I'd take him on loan if his wages weren't too high.
Without googling hasnt he perenially been a lower league striker? He's decent enough player, but Im not sure he's better than what we have.
So far this season, he's scored 1 goal in 10 Premier League appearances and 2 goals in 6 cup appearances. Last season, he scored 3 goals in 22 Premier League appearances and 2 goals in 4 cup appearances. But the season prior, he scored 13 goals in 38 appearances in the Championship. He wouldn't top my list, but I think the squad would be improved by having him in it and I'm a bit surprised some people haven't heard of him.
Yeah I know, but only a few and no better than Jay really. My point was didnt they acquire him when they were in the 3rd tier? As I said, not googled this and all from memory...
He's played 70 games for Norwich, 32 in the Premier League, 38 in the Championship, he wasn't with them in the third tier and his record is definitely better than Jay's.
From Blunderside Sport on twatter "Hull City won't be signing Norwich City's Simeon Jackson on loan. We understand an enquiry was made last week but he's not available"
I think it might be an idea to look at targets that aren't getting a game, rather than first choice Premier League players.
Thanks for that. And where was he before them? Im sure he was a lower league regular previously but I might be wrong. I guess that's why I should follow your example and google everything before posting.
